It's almost Christmas 2020 and I still listen to this one every year
I sang in that performance (I'm in the third row at 3:24). Makes me feel sad and nostalgic because so much choral music has been shut down during the pandemic and I haven't had a chance to sing hardly at all for two years.
Who was the conductor for this concert? Looks familiar.

I was so busy working that I missed the opportunity to watch the Dallas Orchestra. Ironically, I was a First Chair saxophonist in All State Florida Orchestra.
The black man singing Away in a Manger has a fabulous voice. Very moving performance.

I'm guessing it's pretty safe to say "Merry Christmas" to anyone at this concert or who's tuned in, bruh.

Why is this soloist always the pick?
The title specifically says "no ads", thats false advertising.
So here's the deal...
When this was originally posted years ago, RUclips wasn't doing ads. Also, I edited the TV recording which had broadcast ads in it. "No ads" originally meant that it was recorded off TV, and the original TV broadcast had ads but I removed them. For example, if you download this using a RUclips downloader site, there won't be any ads, broadcast or otherwise.
You can help me get this 100% ad free if you subscribe to my channel. When I reach 1,000 subscribers I will be able to FULLY disable the YT ads also.

Moods: This piece needs some "Shawisms": the sloppy diction is what is causing you to be continually out of sync with the orchestra. Com-ah-tu bethelehem not Cometobethelehem. And what happened to the "Larghetto" at the end. My goodness, that's where the drama is! You rushed to the end, got the claps and it was over. Also the kids are affecting your sound and the artistic picture of it all. Put them on the sides - this ain't their show, ya know? :)

If you people believe in God and His Son Lord Jesus and want to enter His Kingdom, then you need to live based on what He commanded to the children of Israel. That is to live holy life. Christmas, thanksgiving, new year, birthday, all celebrations are called pagan celebrations or statutes of the nations. The Lord God said He abhors pagans for dishonoring His laws and commandments. So He destroys them for committing such thing.

What are you talking about? Why are you preaching to people enjoying the Christmas season? Regardless of religion, the world takes a minute to agree to peace on Earth, there have even been cease fire in Wars. If we take a minute to appreciate non-Christian faith, they too usually preach be kind to each other, some sacrifice and fast to show their devotion to their faith, instead of being glutinous, like me and other Christians for the holiday. Respect others, learn about them, some people enjoy celebrating life, milestones (Birthdays, Thanksgiving....) The Lord should smile upon all who wish well to others and appreciate all life offers . P.S. You may want to learn Hebrew to read those scrolls that have been misinterpreted!
Who sells what? Tickets to a concert that people work hard to learn their part in an orchestra to share joy? I am pretty sure I have never heard of a swindler or serial killer who plays in an Orchestra. You are twisting faith to serve your purpose, I am sure God frowns upon that.
