In this video we install Steg Pegz onto a 2024 Beta Xtrainer 300. No idea what they are... stay tuned. Let us know if you have used Steg Pegz and what you thought of them. We already know we have weak jelly legs but feel free to add your thoughts. This video is NOT sponsored by Stegzmoto, we just love them and purchased them with our own hard earned cash $$. Good question and one we will add to the list when on a ride review soon. Basically they feel like your feet a locked in and more secure due to the camber you can set and also the lugs. the platform is much bigger than the standard ones so in our opinion a lot more comfortable. They aren't cheap so a bit of a luxury item (worth it). Thanks
The double puck makes a huge difference. It’s really an anchor on your boot. The only drawback is having to slide your boot out and around when you go downhill but you get used to it. Worth a try!
Good question! We are about 2000kms/1300miles south of there so not really sure. Hopefully some local QLDs on here can give you some ideas. What area of QLD generally are you from and want to ride? Cheers
Wow I've never thought about a boot mounted puck, that may just work! I think its more about having something solid sticking out to stop backward movement. I totally agree with you that its very inconvenient to get to the air box! on the KTM its much worse. something simple like a wing nut or an even simpler method would be good. Have you used Steg Pegz before Steven? Cheers
I have seen some reviews were the rider looks like they are riding on the soles of their feet, I ride on the balls of my feet and stand 95% of the time, do the regular steg pegz move back far enough to allow this foot position or do I need the ones for dessert riding? I am on. KTM 500 excf.
Hi. they have a lot of movement front and back. You can also cut a slightly longer slot if you really need to. We have a set on a 20 husky fe501 and they are great. They also have the wider desert king option if you really need them. I run 1 pick and 2 large metal washers and am happy with that. Cheers 💪💪🙏👌👍

Love the video, good to see some solid info coming out that’s easy and clear to understand. Keep it up!!! 🤙🏼
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the easy to follow video mate.
Got my sub
Thanks Brad, great to have you onboard.
I loved my pegz on my Husky and YZX but hated them on my Rieju, I ended up taking them off and fitting pivot pegz.
We have seen those pivot pegs. Pretty cool concept, something we might have to try.
That would be good to see. Hard to know how far/ easily they rotate etc.
@@HardUNduro You can jump on mine next time mate.
How do the Fastaway foot pegs compare to stock?

I love my Stegz. I’ve never though about having a double puck. Does it make a noticeable difference?

10/10 for Stegz. Must have so lazy riders like ne. Or Dakar desert sleds.💪💪
What's the best spot to ride in QLD

I’m down South too. Would be cool to ride in QLD somewhere for some different terrain.
Totally agree. Some of the lush rainforest rides up there look awesome!
To have to remove this every time I need get to the air filter, that's a no sale for me. Wouldn't be simpler to mount the puck to the boot?
