+Raphael Joiner It's like made with whatever post-apocalyptic people could improvise as musical instruments. Oil barrels for drums and such. Fits the movie's atmosphere pretty well.
I always saw it as a update of what was going on in the future and the war. I actually really liked this movie though, I don't understand all the hate it gets.
Salvation wasn't so bad at all. They just show us the bigest plot twist in the begining of the movie. And that was it's Achilles heel. If you didn't know that Marcus is not human until the scene in the minefield it would have a potential. And whole execution could be presented as an retrospective when they get him a first aid.
+szpaQ83 while I don't disagree, the movie is also a bit slow it is supposed to be a war and at no point do we see the war.... oddly I am one of the few to actually really enjoy it however.
Actually, I didn't really catch on to that until the minefield scene, because I couldn't figure out what exactly they were doing in the beginning of the film.
Personally, I love Salvation. I loved that it was in the future after Judgment Day. The execution of the plot could've been better, but it was still amazing. What were the best parts in the original 3? The future scenes. The future scenes were the most intense because they reflected the hopeless struggle of humanity after Judgment Day where 1 false move would get the fighters in the Resistance killed. The scene in the first 1 where Kyle enters the Resistance base was so hard to watch because it was so depressing and so real and when the Terminator arrived, it was an "oh shit" moment which kept me on the edge of my seat. Genysis is going to be a letdown. They need to cut the time travel bullshit and focus only on the war. Judgment Day is inevitable.
Sweetness71775 I'm sorry but if you think the future scenes are the best parts of those movies, you're on crack or did not watch the same movies I watched
Brain Bear I agree with you on Salvation, it was alright. Nowhere near as good as the original or the T2. I've always wanted a Terminator movie set in the future. Getting to see the war against the machines, was a nice change of pace from the time travel plot line. It was also a good attempt at trying to progress the story into the inevitable future. Then Genesys comes along and shits all over the storyline. I would've liked to see more John Connor, and less Sam Worthington. Christian Bale as John Connor, was great. Too bad he didn't get the screen time, that he deserved. John Connor is the hero of humanity, it only makes sense to have the movie focus on him a little more.
I don't get why so much hate for this movie. With this movie we finally got to see the actual damn war, the war that they were talking about for years, 3 movies, speaking about the war, yeah the machines this, the machines that, the war, terrible war, we need to save John because the machines are comming, war is near and finally we got the movie about the actual war and people complained!! WTF?!, I think it's a great movie.
They complain because it didn't have the futuristic weapons that were shown on the future scenes of the previous movies. I can understand not having the futuristic weapons in it, we're seeing the beginning of the war after all.
I still enjoy this movie, far more than "Rise of the Machines" or "Genisys". Both have good elements, but "Salvation" dared to depart from the time-travelling assassin staple, focusing on John Connor and Kyle Reese after the Future War. I also liked Sam Worthington very much, as Marcus Wright. The idea of a human being unwittingly made into a Terminator by Skynet was a brave idea, especially since Marcus thought he was signing his body away after execution. When he realizes what's been done to him, his mission becomes not one of murder, but discovery. He wants to know not only who did this to him, but why...and in the end, he surrenders his second chance at life to rescue a man he respects. To Marcus, John Connor isn't some grand messiah figure - he's just another guy trying to do the right thing. Marcus sees saving Connor's life as his redemption, for failing to save his own brother and two cops.
actually in the comics marcus becomes alive again his heart rebuilt itself using artificial tissue that slowly regenerated if a sequel happened they probably would of brought him back using what they did in the comics
It isnt best terminator, but still is the only one that show me the brutal future with machines properly and in interesting way. :-| I like it more then T:Genisys
+Jambers I liked it. I mean, I didn't completely hate it. Was it one of the better Terminator films? Not by a mile but it wasn't complete garbage... to me anyway.
Out of all the Terminator sequels, except from part 2, Salvation was the best. Can't understand why people hate on it. It's the same as Predator 2, solid cast entertaining story, good effects but somehow trashed by everyone. Just my personal opinion.
people will never like the ideal of synthetics and organics working together and being stronger for it. We are all one eventully that will mean something. And when it does you better be ont he right side
chris kiczula how do we know you're not SkyNet? How do we know you're not trying to replace us like temple university is doing with the robotic library?
Althought the fact that they change John's age is a good thing... Seriously now that kid did not seem 10 year old in any possible way.. they added 3 years that made it more realistic to people who notice that kind of details :P
By far my favourite terminator movie and game idk why but I get so hyped when I see everything to do with this movie and game I fell like the soundtrack in the game is better like you agree dislike if not
@xXKyleBuschFanXx Well according to Terminator Salvation when Marcus gets ambushed in the city and Kyle Reese saves them, the terminator had 2 miniguns.
@@jackster9775 that's not true. I have seen the movie a couple of times and the theme they played when CGI Arnold first appeared was not the same theme. The beginning sounded more heavy.
like the t-101 series (models include t-800 model 101, t-850 model 101, and t-888 model 101) im a cybernetic organism, living tissue over a metal endoskeleton. and like the t-850, i run on dual hydrogen cells. i was sent back in time to infiltrate the human society and find weak points for skynet to target
The Terminator theme song is up there with some of the best theme songs of all times.
+Jay L. Totally Agree!!
Whats is the 1 2
Yes bro
I loved all of them but genesis and this one isnt that great either but I love salvation
Hard disagree.
More brutal theme version which is awesome
+Raphael Joiner It's like made with whatever post-apocalyptic people could improvise as musical instruments. Oil barrels for drums and such. Fits the movie's atmosphere pretty well.
+AceOfClubsHUN so atmosphere of movie is shit so theme is shit
Michael Daniello The salt is real.
+Michael Daniello you sir hate everything in life. This is not an opinion. This is fact.
THE NEW EMPIRE Aint a dam thing wrong with that
Salvation was not that bad..
Thank u I don’t know why so many people hate it
My favorite from the trilogy.
@@Iamav15 same here man
I like it a lot more than 3, genysis. I was hoping they were going to continue the story in the future.
@@Mattos77 I think everyone likes it more than genesis
This movie was so good.
Salvation isn't really a reboot, it is a direct sequel to T3
I always saw it as a update of what was going on in the future and the war. I actually really liked this movie though, I don't understand all the hate it gets.
What idiot thought Terminator Salvation was a reboot?
It's a future prequal. If that makes any sense.
And a prequel to The Terminator (funny how time travel will do that)
It is a sequel and a reboot to t3 because of john Connors scar when he had that in t2 so it's kind of a reboot to t2 and t1
I loved terminator Salvation, I love the setting and all the other things about it
Essa música na abertura e playground pegando fogo ....poxa vida! Arrepia até hoje....2024....

szpaQ83 They tell you he's a cyborg in the opening scene when they tell he signs a deal to where his body is taken ownership by a cyborg company
+szpaQ83 while I don't disagree, the movie is also a bit slow it is supposed to be a war and at no point do we see the war.... oddly I am one of the few to actually really enjoy it however.
It can't be a big spoiler when they show it in the beginning of the film

Salvation is my favorite of the franchise but fully acknowledge its many problems
No, it isn't inevitable. That flies right in the face of T2's message.
I thought this movie was a breath of fresh air for the terminator franchise
Opressive Maul why?
This was the only Terminator movie that hit me the hardest and I still love it 😮
Greatest theme of all time.
"Desire is irrelivent. I am...a machine! You are terminated."
Not really. Some care.

Loved this Terminator movie. Second best of them all.
first n 2nd part them is awesome
for me first one original them i love it.
old is gold

Most people do
Always thought of this song as a "fallen hero" type of theme, but I love this song regardless.
This song is Awesome!!!
Max Hanton really should call this version of the theme Guns N' Roses
Best terminator theme.
it has that 90's feel wow nice!
I liked this one the most for some reason, idk why maybe when Arny showed up at the end. That was sick xD
Actually WB did a very good job this movie, the beginning of new nightmare, where technology still limited and skynet just beginning to build t-800...
This one really fits terminator salvation because it sounds pretty depressing
It's way of saying "Ya know that war the T800, Kyle and Sarah told us all about? This is it"
Terminator theme song is life
this gives me peter piper memories and i love how its a remix of t2 amazing
WrestleMania 31 with Triple H entrance was amazing! 🔥🔥🔥
I like Terminator Salvation one was a little kid I like to watch it in my dreams I thought I was fighting the robots good old time
The movie was pretty good actually. It don't deserve all the hate that it already gotten really
Why did nobody like this movie? It was far better than terminator 3.
+Jambers Being better than Terminator 3 should not be considered an accomplishment.
+Jambers I liked it. I mean, I didn't completely hate it. Was it one of the better Terminator films? Not by a mile but it wasn't complete garbage... to me anyway.
I didn't?
+Jambers casting Christian Bale to play John Conor was the worse choice ever
+Caius Ballad Yes... but it remains a great film for me. this is my opinion.
Let's all agree terminator 2 has the best theme song
fantastic the man arnold
I shiver every time I hear this
Fantastic; Fantastisch, Fantastisk & Fantastique!!
This Song is Epic! :D

I have to say this is a good music I am impressed
Love the Arcade :D
Yeah, best ever. Hint: Aim for the head and watch their stupid bodies walk around before they fall to get a laugh out.

This is the true Terminator 3 IMO.
Yeah really, the more I think about T3 the less I like it and the more I wonder why it was even made
Definitely the best soundtrack, imo
Fun fact: terminator salvation was the first terminator movie i saw. I found out about terminators by watching terminator sarah connor chronicles.
my new favorite sound track besides terminator 2
My 3 movies salvation, terminator 1 and Terminator judgement day
the best john connor
Underrated movie.
There is no fate, but what we make for ourselves
This movie had its fair share of issues but this theme is kickass.
Da Dum Dum Da Dum!(2x)

The movie was good by itself but not good as a Terminator movie. It just didn't feel like Terminator.
Yeah, it had no Arnie. Only a CGI model of his younger self.
Well it won't fit, the only thing that would make sense is a new younger Arnold terminator
the main difference was that it had no Arnold Schwarzenegger in it
