There are some weapons we don't know anything about yet because they are so secret! All of the missiles on here are at least 10 or more years old! I'm officially amazed that weapons made in the 90's are still in use today! 😅
Regarding MIRVs - I wonder how widely each warhead can be placed? I'm guessing they can be dropped along it's flight path, and each warhead will glide during re-entry to individual targets. But probably not much more than a few hundred miles apart? Anybody know better (obviously I'm not requesting anything classified)
From the delivery vehicle's low earth orbit, they can place an independently targeted payload just about anywhere, as it takes little fuel for the payload to continue in orbit to a suitable re-entry trajectory. Hope this explanation is watered down enough to not trip the algorithm.
22:03 i guess you can drop it on your teritory so it is more defensive than ofenzive and so the cargo plane isn't destroyed. And when the enemy tries to attack you it gets surprised by it.
These cutting-edge innovations are reshaping modern warfare with unparalleled precision, speed, and lethality. Here’s a look at some of the most insanely futuristic military weapons and tech currently in development or already being tested.
Item 1 CAN be damn effective, and used, in real life. It is a premature defence-offence system, deployed BEFORE a war ensues, when it is deemed that war is starting to become inevitable. A Pre-War-Early-Deployment-System, if you like.
The purchase price of just one of these missiles is indeed mind-owing, but if you can spray tiny EMP atmospheric cloud weapons into the target areas, you can kill the GPS, Laser guidance and radar for half the price, that sends the weapon maverick and it cannot hit it's target or it might devastate the nearest city as it misses any designated target. Micro EMP explosive chaff weapons could work at a larger area in Orbit. Destroying all or most GPS reliant systems. With the bonus of wiping out. Localised communications.
Your explanation of how rail guns work is... Somewhat off. It isn't strictly an electromagnetic force that propels the projectile. The projectile itself closes the loop for the circuit, that produces the forces on the projectile propelling it forward. Coil guns use strictly electromagnetic forces to propel a projectile. Somewhat similar concepts. Easily mistaken for one another.
I understand the need for special modern weaponry but come on guys the money spent on the development of new military tech is mind blowing enough...to think that were not amidst any wars right now it makes no sense spending this much money when there's so much poverty around the world
And it would be much worst and more poverty if we did not advance our milatary might. That is the only way these two issues can be compared. Look around the planet and tell me how these countries that have no defense or milatary might are doing
Ultimate munitions: a pinpoint projectile that deploys nanites that eat weapons and uniforms but is harmless to human skin and bodies. It renders soldiers unable to fight and makes them naked. It also eats tanks, military vehicles, ships, and aircraft. It is fired from orbit so that it can be deployed against any military in the world.
Technology are developing in a fastest way so we can see these stuff , thanks for the great knowledge you brought , contents never disappointed me , it always amazing
Almost all of the stuff shown, are years old, only really the Zircon missile is new tech, and even then it was proven it can be intercepted by a missile FROM THE GOD DAMN 80s. None of this is knowledge and its all clickbait. Also for god sakes some of the things shown ARE FROM THE 1700s.
The US Navy recently announced they were removing the railguns from their ships. Despite the theoretical advantages of the weapon, the reality is that it's nearly impossible to put together the energy storage required to make the weapon viable during the stress of battle. Well, that and it tends to literally blow its barrel to bits when it fires. China has almost certainly run into the same issues, since solving the problems would require a major advancement in battery technology and materials engineering it's unlikely they have. Hypersonic missiles are similarly not as impressive in practice as they sound on paper. Controlling a missile accurately as it flies at speeds so fast it literally turns air into plasma turns out not to be such an easy thing to do. You can fire them all day long in impressive-looking tests, but counting on them in conflict is a very iffy proposition. To put it into perspective, as you approach to 100 km from a target you have to stay within 1.4 degrees of dead center of the target if your payload is lethal to a range of 2.5 km (which would be an enormous payload) and you have all of about 30 seconds to make any corrections. Can it be done? Maybe. Reliably? I doubt it.
@@weijieliang-ue8lq A power source capable of powering a railgun without the need for a battery bank system for firing would be impractically large and heavy for installation in a ship, nor is it possible to make railguns more energy efficient. Such a system would also not address the material engineering problems of a railgun destroying its own barrel with each shot. The PRC can claim whatever it likes, but I remain skeptical.
@@persona2grata “电磁线圈炮”electromagnetic coil gun isn't “轨道炮”railgun. The projectile of the electromagnetic coil gun is magnetically levitated in the barrel.Ships use gas turbines to charge batteries and capacitors, rather than pure electric power. Like a hybrid car. In the video, a small ship is equipped with an electromagnetic coil gun. Because the all-electric system can store energy, the boat will turn off the thruster, stop in place to complete charging, and then fire. It's like the T-34. Cheap body with powerful gun. This greatly reduces costs.
21:32 its either a missile, or a cartrige, but if it is a cartrige, it would be uneffective, because there is no barrel, so itis not accurate at long distances, distances tanks can go from.
The Civil War was won by the force that had the most cannon and Case shot Rounds in the battle. Case shot was an anti-personnel projectile, meaning it was used against soldiers. It was a hollow shell filled with scraps of metal called shrapnel.

3:23 nope the Merkava m4 has a defensive system which is some kind of fire shotgun capable to intercept any missile / shell before it even touches the tank
First off all, not just the Merkava has that protection system, which is called Active Protection System (APS). The Israeli made the Trophy system, which is 1 of a few good ones, but the trophy is mounted to a lot of tanks

It is technically an "arm" and it does create fire. Man portable missile launchers are relatively small compared to ICBM's, therefore, they are small arms.
Picture a Javelin coming out of the ground on some camo platform to fire. But can go back under rearm itself to fire again set up all over the place. Remote controlled from a distance, safe and sound. So basically a Unmanned, self-loading, remotely controlled tank killer. Unmanned remote controlled warfare or, trench warfare until someone pushes the button
Railgun maybe powerful but it is also hard to keep it active because it constantly needs to change its barrel. It also need energy to fire it well if it was put on a nuclear powered aircraft carrier they may/might fire it without a having problem on electricity it needed.
