- With the original X-Blend being one of the most popular motorcycle boots out there for several years, the new Blend 2 is a fresh update on a modern classic boot. A clean, minimal aesthetic with traditional lace-up fastening, and extremely subtle branding are all the hallmarks of a vintage-styled boot that would be a welcome addition to any motorcycling get-up.

Old ones all the way. Small changes make these look average while the old look amazing. Actually I think the originals are the best looking casual motorcycle riding boots.
All my boots are TCX- very comfortable and you could wear them all day.

Sorry I far prefer the previous version of the boot. The only thing I prefer on these is the lack of a visible gear change protector. Apart from aht I think these new ones are a backwards step.
Yeah it absolutely sucks, the original one seems to be discontinued now too
If you're looking at these boots here are some things to note.
They are pretty chunky at the toe box and around the ankles, closer to a pair of Timbs rather than heritage boots like the Red Wing Iron Ranger or Wolverine 1000 miles. Caveat that might be due to getting a pair of size 40s meaning the whole boots proportions might be a bit squashed but that should be expected for the extra protection.
I guess TCX believe “if it ain’t broke, screw it up”. I own the original X-blend boots in brown and love them. These new ones look bulky as cumbersome. TCX completely missed the target here…
Got old and New sorry the New is far superior. For all you lot stuck in the past. ;)

These are cool and not the Rokker you wear man so much more style and comfort in the TCX, I own terrain 3 and they are amazing boots.
The toe box is too tall. Old ones look a lot better.
I found my guzzi griso toe shifter punishing, I bought the X-blend for the shifter pad, the boots durability has suprised me, the sole never seems to wear. I like the bigger toe box on the new boot but alas the lack of shifter pad gets thumbs down, embossed tight or what!
"Improvement"....I disagree. These look like LL Bean snow boots, the old ones look much better

Looks too much like a work boot. I like the original more
Really annoyed with TCX. I bought their Staten boot and the sizing is way off. They run a whole size too large. Contacted them for a return and never heard anything back. I don't see how this is much of an upgrade from the first ones. Only reason why I bought the Staten and not the OG X Blend is because I didn't feel like dealing with the laces.
IMO the hero's sole was too thick for me. is this sole thinner?

Buyer beware. 100% not waterproof unless Gore-tex. I own the TCX X Blend, also touted as waterproof, but they're not.
I’m a daily rider, I ride in pouring rain for 4 months, my feet have never got wet.
New ones look ugly compared to the old ones. Could not find old ones in stock anymore so went for the second version, but i am not so happy about the looks
Nice boots but i tried the TCX on and the footbed is too small for me.

The old x blend look much better! These new ones look like every other work boot out there!! No good! Can’t understand why these companies insist on changing the design that made it so popular in the first place! It’s the aesthetics, looks nothing like the x blend!!
The toe box looks bigger.
original looks better, like an 8 eye dr martens and fitted under slim fit pant legs. These seem bulky
