I did scrutinize the time differentials closely. The results are listed in the description area. Adding in on the 19th - to all those out there, Happy Father's Day. Thanks for watching.
Very impressive Mr. Jack, the gains in time and handling of the chain. It is evident you have a successful recipe on the zip. Great dissertation on the wrap-kit, oiler mods, and the chains as well. I also noted the lighting and wind cooperated and the crows had something to say...Happy Fathers day to you sir....
Pretty impressive build there, movin' right along. I agree about the stops, we call them drags too, one more of the many names we hear them called. I've used gauges only to wind up tossing them. There are too many variables, size, and type of wood length of bar, size of powerhead, life of the chain and so on. I just take them down till it's where I want it and hope I don't get into anything much harder than I'm already in.
I love what you do sir great some love the knowledgeable answer and the honesty and humbleness you show ill be contacting you to get a zipped saw id love to pick it up if possible
Hey video jack!! It’s just total irony that Stihl is doing what husky did 30 years ago with their bore and stroke lol 266xp-400cm 272xp-462cm And husky is going down a way different path with their bore and stroke I own a 572 and a 462, And like in one of your previous videos those two saws cannot be any more different but they both have their advantages They are both good saws!! Take care jack!!
Nice gains with the 400! I run the high output oiler at max output for 24" & 28" bars in hardwoods any less output and I get significantly more bar and tip wear. Time spent figuring out the best possible chain grind for the wood you are felling is time saved in the woods, both in cutting speed and amount of cutting between sharpening. Those felling spikes are different than what came in the wrap kits I have purchased. The ones you are running are what I am looking for, did those felling spikes come with the wrap kits you purchased ?
230E hi. Bar oil is doing multiple functions. It is cooling the drivers & chassis. So by default, the teeth as well. Bar oil is reducing the wear on the drivers, chassis, AND inner bar groove as well as rails. Bar oil is also cooling the bar itself. What gets missed is that your chain will actually cut better the higher the quality the bar oil is. It is nearly on par with choosing a great mix oil regarding the importance of bar oil. Seems like you have that figured out. Thanks for watching.

Brian hi
God was smiling on me there. Hope Father's day was good to you also.
Thanks for watching.
That's an incredible Stihl 400 you did. Another very well done custom saw, makes me want to get one.

I am really surprised with that stock saw performance, You did an awesome port job as always, Sir!
I'd love to have you build a saw for me. I've seen your videos for years and years and always thought how much I'd love to try your builds
Looks like a massive upgrade in torque
Wish he did a bench video of the 400c. I’ve got one I did some modifications too and it’s such a nasty little saw.
I love what you do sir great some love the knowledgeable answer and the honesty and humbleness you show ill be contacting you to get a zipped saw id love to pick it up if possible
Very impressive gains👍👍 nicely done
Screamin demon! Impressive sir!
Very impressive gains! Very impressive overall product! I would take that zipped saw all day over practically any stock saw from any manufacture.

Wow nice saw 👍
That's pretty impressive for a 67 cc saw wow...must be that new light weight piston ....Shoe
Robert hi.
Thanks.
The Mag piston does help a little.
Probably more along the lines of what the tuner did internally.
Thanks for watching.
Well done sir. Happy fathers day
Charles. Hi.
Belated happy Father's day to you as well.

Great looking saw, what dogs are you running? Are they off a different model?
Wait did a stock 400 just pull a 36" bar with no oiler mods??
👍👍👍👍👍🏅
I bought the 462 over the 400…. Did i go the wrong way??
No
Absolutely not! I have a 400, 500 and the 462. And I always grab the 462. Great saw
@@benredmond8271 awesome that’s good to hear
462 has more torque and can pull and oil a longer bar. The weight difference between them is almost non existent. You made a good choice, don't worry.
