Be sure your fuel lines are tight at the connections - this has caused that exact problem with a few of my Zenoahs and BIG Saitos, plastic tie wrap or wire tie. Sucking air and you can sometimes see bubbles going into the carb. Nice WACO! I am working on a GP Super Stearman w/Zenoah G26. Thanks for posting it!
Needs a new ignition box. I have a 1/3 scale Pitts with a dle 30 that used to misfire like that. Changed to an RCEXEL ignition box and never misfired again!
Just like the other comments, misfires. It's the one thing about gas engines vs nitro. Nitro plugs just burn out from age, and you can tell. Ignition motors fail electrically, but you can still put a meter on them. I have the Super Stearman with the Saito Radial in her, as it sounds as scale as it looks. No matter what Bi-Planes turn heads.

Great Planes fly so GOOD 😊
You were exactly right! I replaced the CDI box and it runs smooth as silk.
Funny thing with DLE ignition issues, they're also made by RcExel. Now anyways.

Try put in a DLE 35RA and smoke system you really would have some fun

I have the exact same problem with my DLE20. did you find the cause?
