My girlfriend just gave me one as a gift for Valentine's Day, such a brilliant device, it overtook even my Gaming PC as my main device to game on, not to mention me discovering Pico-8 and falling in love with games once again. Also liking your reviews, keeo the good work!!!

@@crystal_is_cozy She's amazing indeed. Although Splore crashes with me everytime I try to boot it, so I play from the Fake-08 emulator (and I want to play from Splore so badly!!!). Any ideas on how to fix that? :v
@@senormonkey98 whatttt that’s so weird. You know what, it might have to do with the directory that you’ve got everything in. Apparently from the 4.3 version firmware update, you have to place the pico-8 files you got from the raspberry pi version into a different directory instead of the one that it was in when it was in beta. So if you experienced problems after updating, that may be why. Also, you might want to check the files you have for pico-8 to see if they are the most up to date releases. But that sucks! I’ve never had a problem loading up splore on the MM+

This may be an odd question, but how do you like the texture of the opaque plastic vs the transparent plastic? I find some transparent versions to be either "slick" to the feel, or less sturdy when compared to nontransparent versions of some devices and was wondering if it's the case for the mini plus, I really like the black version, but hesitant.
I don’t know about the black version, but the purple one is slightly more slick than the gray/beige dmg one. I have never really had an issue with the purple one feeling TOO slick, though. I think the form factor keeps them from being too slippery to hold, no matter the type of plastic. I really like how both of them feel in hand.
