Great point that I didn't clarify in the video. This is a small pneumothorax seen only at the apical view and was NOT attributed to his vital signs except for mild tachypnea. The patient's HR improved after some pain medications, his borderline low blood pressure was transient and improved. Good educational scan because originally the physician in training, although they performed the scan, missed the finding of the pneumothorax. It is important to identify though because repeat ultrasounds can monitor if it is increasing in size.
Is that a b line?
perfect
Did he have low BP which was attributed to this PTX? Since it's looks pretty apical and does not seem to have been the main culprit for poor vitals..
