So lucky and honored to have seen them live in 1996, twice in 1999, 2003, and 2007. Still one of my favorite bands. Just finished listening to the audiobook version of Love & Pain.
Thanks for sharing this great song!!! So sad I never got the priviledge of seeing them live, but this is the next best thing!!! Believe it not I just discovered them this year, I always just thought they were a band of kids, stupid me!
Somewhere in the multiverse this dude is definitely the greatest frontman to have ever lived. Our universe got the one who got reactive arthritis and kept Diorama from being recognized as one of the greatest albums in the last 40 years and created irreparable tensions in the band while Dan dissolved into a spiral of self-medication. As great as he was (and still is) - I wish everyone, him, the band, the fans, could have enjoyed a better outcome here. FutureNever is awesome but we could have had 12 FutureNevers by now.
He didn’t create tension he was just tired and Ben couldn’t take it. Having this kind of pressure especially when not only the fans but both of your band mates depends on your genius to feed them more is something either chris or ben will never understand . We need to leave him alone once and for all he gave way more than he should’ve because in the end it ruined his health.
It's worth more because it took effort to find these guys, to find this music, it's more personal. If every kid I walked by in high school was humming a replacements tune, something inside me would turn and they wouldn't have been my favorite anymore. ( I definitely hear you though. When I first saw Dan come out at homebake, glasses, busts right into the set, I said, " this is the greatest rock star of all time!")
He still did a fair bit. 5 silverchair albums, an album or 2 with Paul Mac in the Disociatives side project while still in silverchair, an album with Dreams and 2 solo albums which unfortunately he didn’t tour for due to performance anxiety. Besides the 2 shows at the Oprah house after his first Solo album.
Had it in 99, had it in 2000, had it in 2001,2 and 3 had it in 2005,6,7,8 and boy oh boy did they have it in 2010. beautiful performance. they better have it again sometime in my lifetime
@@Aenigmakil yeah definitely, it’d literally be silverchair just under Daniel johns (ft.Ben and Chris) and i absolutely know that Ben wants silverchair back so he’s obviously not a fan of daniels solo stuff
@@AenigmakilNo Daniel wrote a a solo album and wanted the others to play on it without calling it silverchair and they said no. Which is understandable.
@@MrZZsharka yeah I have that album, it's cool. I think they were rude. He reached out for them to guest on one song and that could've been the beginning of a new Silverchair.
For how they were treated in the past now look were they are now there is only one band Silverchair one of the best for our generation no one else like them💯
Que show incrível!

Live performances of this song still give me chills to this day..
Emotion Sickness was the song that set them apart and brought them to the next level in my opinion
Agree!
Totally!!! It started with Cemetery to me but with this they've cross the line to that new level. This is a true gem, a MASTERPIECE!!!

We received more than enough, more than we deserved. Daniel gave us his youth & genius. It’s his choice & his alone to ever give the world more.

DJ tried to reach out to the others recently but they declined. No idea why. Seemed childish to me.

Tha new music of Daniel Johns - Reclaim your Heart remember me this moment! Great show 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💥🔥
Same guitar was used ;)
I think this is by far the best guitar solo I have seen Daniel do. This was a good performance!
How did I not know that this existed?!... I had no idea that there were any more live videos after 2007
Quite a few from their tour in 2010!
@@thesilverchairpit that's totally awesome! I can't wait to hear more from it!
Thanks so much!
Long Live Silverchair!
just a few, but there's some out there for you to check out
Brazil 2023

beautiful performance, chris was totally getting into it in the solo part
I wish I could have seen these guys live. I sounded and look awesome.
Had it in 2023 for more than 20 years in a row. Their music still fucked me up

what an amazing guitar solo my friend Daniel!!!
I carry this solo with me wherever I go, and when I'm down something in it picks me off the ground and I float in the air above it all
Thank you SO much for sharing this version. I f* love it.
Perfected into the center of the target, oh Heart, the heart.
This was so beautiful, man! I wish I saw you live again!
Perfection!
Performance impactante. Maravilhosos.
I am still having their songs (Cassette).
If everyone, everywhere knows your shit, you are a rock star🎉
Que fantástico!
thx very much

Ahh that solo section should've been on the studio version too! 🫶🏾
Neymar on guitar and voice.. awesome version
Almost 13 years to the Day.
This show was 1st May!
@The Silverchair Pit yeah. Just so many weeks out. Almost 13 years ago. Crazy

Good to see the boys are still coming out with good songs awasome
This performance was from 2010 🙂
There fans went from thinking they where just want to be nrivine kids to thinking about the name silver char every time they see the lead singer
Shit.... They've been gone almost as long as the length of time they were around.
"You guys RIP" -Pam
i often dislikes how he sang older songs at this time, just as his voice matured, but this was gold
One of their last shows..
First show of the last tour👍🏼
Hot
this performance was fire!!!
btw do you have homebake 1999 footages?
Bro I found some snippets of the original quality one . I posted it already

Unfortunately Daniel Johns forgot how to Silverchair long ago.
Malaysia Please!!!!!!!!
