Our last cruise to the Mexican riviera in December, we relaxed much as you are this time. It was nice to go to the buffet at night and not worry about the MDR.

Hi Arlynn. From what i seen so far you had a restful and enjoyable cruise which you really needed. The outfit on the Aruba day looked the best you looked beautiful.

I've never seen those before and they looked so pretty in your hair. You have done amazing with your weight loss. You inspire me. I just can't get started. Hi Nelda! Thank you so much for all of your sweet words! Ahhh, the elevator...well, I was trying to get back to my stateroom after being out and around the ship with Barb and Scott. So we stopped at a floor and it was their turn to get off and they did, but, then this woman dressed to the nines come rushing up to the elevator and tries to get in...well the door were closing and she stuck her clutch purse between the closing doors! Mind you I was IN the elevator, Barb and Scott were outside the elevator and the elevator wouldn't go up or down nor would the doors open! I was stuck and so was that lady's purse (that was not the brightest move on her part). ;) FINALLY after pushing every button known to man and not a one of them working, the lady figured out that she needed to pull her purse back out and wait for the next elevator. It was so surreal it was funny!! ;) LOL ♥

I know from personal experience how good it feels to be able to fit into things that we weren't able to before. (And for them to be loose is amazing, woohoo!) I'm glad to hear that you got a lot of R & R on your trip, I enjoy those types of cruises too. Jim & I had our eye on the exact cruise that you all took. (Among others on different lines) We had been considering booking a NYE trip, and we've been wanting to try HAL. Unfortunately, we waited too long and the verandas filled up...then the whole cruise was booked before we made our decision. Maybe next year we'll book earlier and take a trip over the New Year. ☺

Thank you so much Rosemary! I've never gotten seasick girl, but, of course there is always the chance for rocky seas at times BUT, these big cruise ships have stabilizers that help. It can still get a little rocky at times. My advice is to take some Bonine, I hear that it is the best over the counter medication to help with sea sickness. ♥ Others have told me about a patch that your doctor can prescribe that is supposed to help (it is worn behind the ear).

Hi CAROL, I'm truly not doing anything special to lose the weight. I had to wrap my head around the idea of doing it first, and then the eating habit changed after that. I eat 3 square meals a day, I don't eat a ton of carbohydrates, and I pretty much gave up diet sodas, I only drink water and iced or hot tea. :) If I want a snack, I eat a fruit...in fact we got some tangerines from the grocery store the other day that I am greatly enjoying. :) Thank you for your sweet words! ♥
