- Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio while attending the funeral of the slain Konyak brethrens, stated that the Nagaland government has already announced a government job and an ex-gratia of rs 5 lakh for the families of the deceased. He announced a compensation of Rs 11 lakh and a government job for each of the families of the 13 people killed in a firing by the armed forces

The compensation the government gave the families is for their daily lively hood since the bread winner of the families are dead, it does not mean exchanging it with justice. People being so negative about the compensation, I wonder what will be their reaction if there was no compensation 🤦
