Please continue making art! They're beautiful. I love your videos. Please upload more. I'm so happy to have found you💙
Nice tutorial. One of my biggest pet peeves relative to online WC tutorials is the instructor fails to visually show the pigments being used. They sometimes orally inform the audience but you show the pigments on screen and this is very helpful, to me at least. Thanks. Marc.

That was enjoyable! Masking paint. Hmmm.
Hello, thanks for this video.... it's really lovely...l was wondering, is the shadow of the trees on the snow a bit too blue? Anyway overall that's really very well done!! And thanks again for sharing!🙋🙋🙋🙋
Awesome tips!!!
I don't understand, at the beginning did you apply the grey without any washing, wet on dry???
Good tutorial
me encanto!
THX FOR DOING IT FOR US)...
Really like this..... going to try it myself, what's a good alternative to gamboge hue please.....thanks
Gamboge is a very warm yellow hue. Substitute another warm yellow like Cadmium Yellow and add just a tiny amount of Cad. Red. This mix should look similar to the slightly yellow/orange color of Gamboge. Always do a search to find out which pigments are used to make the color you want. Gamboge is a mix of PY150 and PR209. The pigment info pertains to professional grade watercolors. You can wing it with student grade paint, too.
I just started painting. I can't seem to get the sky/water etc to blend. I've tried to wet the paper to different degrees, but I still get clear streaks from the brush strokes. Any tips?
+Thiren Sriskantharajah If you aren't getting similar results as in the video, it's likely you are using the wrong paper.
+Thiren Sriskantharajah : to reproduce what's in this video, which is wet into dry wash, mix up copious quantities of the wash you are going to use and use a large brush that can hold large quantity of water/color, like the large hake brush seen in the video, then load the brush with a lot of the wash, but not dripping and apply with broad strokes from one edge to the other, trying not to overwork the brushstrokes. Have the paper tilted at and angle (top higher), and if the wash is too wet you can sop up at the bottom with a thirsty brush. Having a homogenous wash is very satisfying, but it takes practice too!! Have fun!!
