That isn't a tuba, it is a straight bugle instead (tubas are so long and therefore low in pitch). This high of a pitch in music isn't possible on a tuba, but is on a trumpet or bugle.

Roman tuba is different
Tuba is a Latin word. Today, the word is used to describe a very low brass instrument. In Roman times, it was the name for a bugle-like instrument.

Ich bezweifle, dass Tuba und Hydraulis historisch zusammen gespielt wurden. Die Tuba übertönt die ja völlig.
