Maria was truly amazing in the movie. Actors get re-do's all the time, and can laugh and break character. They just do a re-take. For this movie, she could NEVER do that, or else the entire set was ruined. Just amazing acting.

The fertility dance scene had me scream-laughing. It will live in my mind forever.
Sacha and Maria convincingly portrayed that relationship so well, and it actually gave me the feels. Between the babysitter, the Holocaust Survivor, and the scene after Giuliani where Borat says he loves Tutar, it was so heartwarming. I can't believe I cried twice in Borat 2.

The second I realized his daughter was going to be part of the film I was like “oh man, I wanted a Borat-only film” but she KILLED IT. Oh my god she was so good and so so funny. She became my favorite part of the whole thing. Phenomenal acting.

I think Guliani is a sleaze ball, and he was acting in a way that was really unnerving flirtatious, but in all fairness that is essentially how most VIP interviews work to my understanding - a hotel room and security at the door. Not saying it isn't a situation rife for exploitation but it's also not out of the ordinary.
