Yeah, that’s impressive. Love coming down the cliff, slow and smooth and controlled, Jim Wolf he’s good at driving like that. I’m not too bad myself.😁👍👍
You can change the voltage of the BEC, but it has to be done with soldering jumpers on the BEC board. But not sure if the 4 amp BEC will be enough. I go with Direct power servos in every build now.
@@alanbachman6453 yeah I may have to start doing that. I’m not willing to try soldering on it. Thats what sequre had told me also but I figured I’d just screw it up 😆

yep.. these esc have pretty much the same circuit board; but its if you get a good batch. using open source firmware and how well the company reworks that firmware. As far as they come from, thats a whole other dive
So what I have found is this is the problem in my personal opinion with Xscape if you don't put a voltage protector on there and you just leave it open then you can run a higher Bec but the thing that gets you if you got a super powerful Servo and it's drawing a bunch of amps you shoot back through and burn up your receiver
@@Gibsonlife573 what bec are you using? If you cut the power from the esc and only use the bec it shouldn’t do that. I’m gonna use a radiolink r6fg receiver which should be fine to 15v. Shouldn’t have any issue at 8.4v to the servo I wouldn’t think? I had issues with the internal bec on the bktt going nuts & doing that but not with an external bec and the power cut from the esc.
So sign range just keeps it from that transition it keeps you in the lower speed longer and then the sign power when you come out of that definitely reflects I tell you what I found to really help and that is a motor startup or motor timing or whatever that is I set my to like 20 or 22 and do you want to talk about a complete different break and then if you sent me I don't know if they have it but stalport at like 3200 KV it helps

Yeah 15 on sine range means 15% of the throttle is foc, it's technically not afterwards. It goes to 30 I believe
