I shaved mine off after a year. I had straight hair freeform dreads like Scrim from Suicide Boys. There were so many emotions when I was cutting them, happiness, sadness, but I also felt rejuvenated. It's such a deep and moving experience to have dreads

The locs started in America with the Mayans, they colonized Nubia & established colonies on the Nile River. That's how it got their. The hair was always looked as a person who travels. They were called Egyptians by the Greeks & the Greeks alphabet is rooted in the Mayan. Africa was the colony of Carthage after their defeat by the Romans.
