- Today we are checking out one of the trolliest games on the internet, "Trap Dungeon 2", which is basically a remake of "Trap Adventure 2", an iOS game! Join us on this crazy, trolly adventure!
About Trap Dungeon/Adventure: It's an adventure-survival platform game. The game is known for its very hard levels, with endless traps similar to Cat Mario. It was originally released in 2016 for iOS and it gained popularity in 2018

There's two kinds of trolls, the funny trolls and the irritating trolls; this game definitely seems to be the latter..
I think a troll game with a limited number of lives before you restart the entire game DEFINITELY falls into the latter! If you’re going to troll players, at least give infinite lives (like with Eyri’s Quest)
Funny. I just watched the Game Grumps video of them playing Trap Adventure 2 from a few years ago, and half of the video was them being stuck on the 2nd room trying to figure out how to clear the gap. DGR figured it out in a few seconds.
Hehe. And we always joke about Dave being dumb, too.
Arin is definitely not known for his patience or quick thinking, lol! He's a smart guy, but the moment he starts getting frustrated, that's all out the window

the music is so annoyingly happy and upbeat for a troll game...and i love it
It's quite repetitive, though... That's why I put A Cyber's World over it instead! (It was a 30 minute extension)
The original Trap Adventure 2 had multiple tracks for each of the different areas.
Dave not realizing that the moving saws hit twice and he's got to get there and stay there at around 12:00 is possibly going to make me sub to twitch too just to be able to yell at him in real time.

To a guy with the worst internal timer ever, bombs dropping at regularly timed intervals are pretty much random.
Saying you have a bad internal timer is like saying you are bad at throwing a football. It’s a skill that can be trained.

Mario Maker trolls are fun, because the level designer takes elements you are familiar with and uses them in ways that cause things you don't expect. These kind of games are just frustrating, because you have no idea what anything does. A floor or wall might move, your own projectiles might hurt you, etc. These games are all about memorization and repetition, and then this one only gives you 30 lives.

And familiar elements can still literally come out of nowhere, which doesn't make it any different…

You know how this game could've been worse? Imagine if it had a timer that kills you when it runs out, just like in Mario games.
But it’s for the whole game and deletes all of ur progress when it runs out
@@egg9986, yeah, that's why a timer would've made the game even worse! And imagine if the timer went on without resetting at every death or level!
I really hate timers, it's always been one of my least favorite things in games. I love to explore and timers being in each level often ruins that. In my opinion theres just no need for them to be there and its really annoying. It's a good thing my favorite Mario games (Super Mario Galaxy and Yoshi's Island especially) dont have timers for every level
@@Lizuma, oh yeah, and Super Mario Bros 2 doesn't have a timer either! BTW when I was a kid, I was so afraid of video games that have a timer that the only games I was playing on my computer were Dots&Boxes and Hangman. I just had a phobia with timers! Now I am in 9th grade and games that have a timer no longer scare me. They don't scare me since I was in 5th grade, lol!
@@alisiaale565 I cant believe I forgot about SMB2 for a moment, I really liked that one! It's a pretty underrated game in my opinion. I just wish they stuck to no timers after that, but SMB3, Super Mario World and so on brought them back. I consider it pretty lucky Yoshi's Island doesnt have timers, for the beautiful story and adventure wouldve been ruined if I had been under threat of time running out. Super Mario 3D Land would have been so fantastic without a timer, it was one of those games where, as a little kid, I wanted to explore every little place so badly and hang around in my favorite areas. But noooooo, put in a timer for EVERY level that cant be removed in any way...so I often had to pause the timer by going to one of those binocular things and staying there. At least the Super Mario Galaxy games let me just explore and play around in my favorite galaxies for as long as I wanted, and I can do the same in Yoshi's Island.

The problem with this game is that it appears to play like something made by the type of four-year-old that thinks "harder = automatically better"

finally someone plays this game. i have like 100 hours in it. i know every shortcut In the whole entire game and every glitch there is. i love it. started playing it 2 years ago. that's the first time I've been able to write anything about this game in a very long time

Congratulations! Now do the second map. I stopped playing this game not because I got too frustrated, but because I couldn't figure out how to pass one of the rooms in the second map. All my ideas didn't work.

unless yes I would say that sub part was BS with the bombs, as it is a totally different kind of difficulty than the rest of the game
