Of ALL the doctors making videos on the internet, and I have watched most all of them ad nauseam, this doctor has the most pertinent and helpful commentary. and without all the marketing of products I might add. Thank you doctor!

I had weight loss surgery and end up with ulcer were they Stitch me up. Even after they healed they kept me on Pantoprazole 40mg for 3 years. (Took myself off as i kept having pain around the breast bone. Waking me up screaming.) I been of now nine months and doing great. I did take apple cider vinegar (the mother) 1 teaspoon, teaspoon of raw honey with 8 oz of water for about 6 months, now i use ginger chews they work great for acid reflux. No waking up in the night screaming in pain.

Great video. So it would be bad taking it for the last ten years… I have Barrett’s Esophagus and my current gastroenterologist seems to think that’s OK, and scope me again in five years.

@@dawnb8906 I stopped taking it like the commenter said its poison it was nearly killing me when I made the first comment I didn't really know about it and only had taken it once when I made the comment but after weeks of taking it I realised what poison it is.. Long term side effects is it will slowly kill you as it stops your body up taking vital vitamins leading to serious health issues

Me too prescribed for a hiatal hernia when 33 I'm now 53, but have suffered many side effects. Now found out there are safer alternatives that are not PPI's.
I now have suffered pneumonia and bronchitis several years and grow and now lung collapses. Heart palpitations and lower heart rate.
