That doesn't make sense though. In the description for this video it says that it was released in 1929, that was the beginning of the studio. Although, "The End" card missing would make sense with it being the reel Henry has to use would end Bendy.
No, I think Henry is not trying to kill Bendy it was something else like being friends to Bendy. But I think the cartoon knows something at the end, I think that Henry from the real world is not supposed to be in the cartoon of Bendy. So that’s why the cartoon knows that Henry from the real world is not supposed to be in the cartoon of Bendy.

Notice that in every BATIM cartoon, Bendy always suffers, especially around Boris. This could also be why Bendy is always aggressive and willing to kill you in the game. Since he suffered in the BATIM cartoons, he retaliated against his supposite creator, Henry. This hatred from Bendy allowed it to spread to the employees and voice actors at Joey Drew studios, dead or not, through the ink from the ink machine. But hey! That's just a theory. A Game theory! I think that Bendy and Boris are Joey and Henry because if you know that Henry and Joey Drew did not really like each other and nether does Bendy and Boris.To get deeper, this film was made by joey drew so he would think of it as Joey Drew being bendy and Henry being Boris. When it was really Joey being Boris and Bendy being Henry. plus Henry is the REAL creator of Bendy.boom

4 years have passed, and this is still one of the most unsettling mysteries from BATIM under my perspective.
Something just doesn’t feel right with that abrupt ending.

If you check the description, the ending is actually considered lost-media in the bendy universe. Most people assume that the shadow at the end is a character in the cartoon but after reading this description theres a possibility that it could just be somebody walking up to the projector and turning it off. That leaves the question though...why was the projector turned off?
Probably the ending was a Henry cameo he made for himself as a little joke to the public, maybe at the ending, Bendy smiled because he saw, Henry, his creator, his "father" and he probably feels safe after that.
Edit: probably this cartoon was never transmited and the ending part was cut off in secret by Joey after Henry left

A little detail for those curious: the employee handbook (Book from the series with a lot of extra info" talks about this cartoon and says that in the end, Bendy meets "???". The text has white paint covering the text there, but it seems important.
what if the "???" is ink bendy? i know thats not a really good idea since the shadow doesnt match it at all but with bendy smiling at the end it had to be a scared smile, and then it just cuts off? and if not ink bendy then idk who it could be. but there isnt an end... and in the final tape of the game, it says bendy had never seen THE END, and this has nothing saying THE END in it. so maybe where it cuts off is where the "THE END" quote on the screens when you defeat beast bendy is. plus, near the end, the film starts breaking and flickering before it just cuts off. so SOMETHING must have gotten rid of the end, which COULD be ink bendy, but i feel like that wouldnt make sense. so it would probably be someone ELSE who removed the end, and what if its someone who hasnt been introduced yet? However, i dont really know since i dont know much about the books except a few things like buddy and dot.

Notice that it always ends with bendy frowning; except in this one. Why?
I'm assuming the shadowy figure at the end is actually Joey or Henry. Notice the shadow's shape at the end; it's obviously not the skeleton since the shadow lacks the shape of ribs or other bones and it wouldn't make sense for Bendy to be smiling cheerfully at the thing that terrified him seconds earlier, and it's too human-looking to be Boris (notice the lack of dog ears). As for whether it's Joey or Henry... not really sure. The year this cartoon (in-universe, not ours obviously) was released was 1929, AKA the year Joey Drew Studios was founded and was around the time *before* Henry left, and it was evidently Henry who created Bendy's character in the first place.
Maybe he is smiling at his creator, Henry.

Love the little intro tune before the title showed up! Now that is like the old cartoons of yore --- the ones that still catch my breath until today. Ones with so much violence, crazy stuff happening, and various what-the-hecks like pianos dropping, people walking aimlessly into a construction site only to be unharmed either way, and something you see from Popeye or old Mickey Mouse black-and-white cartoons.
Hmm, I'm surprised this didn't fully ended. There was this whole complex story with the guy that made the shadow...oh well

Remember in joeys final audio log how he said “only the monsters remain the shadows of the past” what if that’s what the shadow represents and maybe bendy took advantage with the ink machine.
Apparently timethehobo (the animator of these cartoons) has revealed on their tumblr that the shadow figure is supposed to be Henry entering the cartoon world. A possible metaphor for him stepping into the studio

I'm saying that since it was shown in the Chapter 3 trailer, the one where Alice was introduced, it makes sense that it was Alice Angel foreshadowing.
I find it easier to believe this than the shadow being Henry and Joey because this is supposed to be a real cartoon in-universe and the idea that one of the two inserted himself in the cartoon is ridiculous.

That tape from henry was on the early days of Joey Drew Studios and THAT character that he was talking about was Bendy
I remember first seeing that on the Chapter 3 trailer back in August 2017 and being really happy that we finally see a Bendy cartoon and how well it manages to mimic the old school black and white cartoons from the 1920's and 1930's, since there's something about really old school cartoons and antiques in general that fascinates me.
Y'know, I've always wished that the Bendy and Friends cartoon was an actual cartoon that used to be shown back in the olden days. Holy wow would I have watched it. It could've been shown at like 8:30 AM, and ending at 8:40 AM. A reasonable 10 minutes of animation.
Yes more bendy cartoon I really love them. I hope the full episodes of the ones we see at the end of chapter 5 get released

This is the most scariest Bendy cartoon because of the ending. it feels like that something bad was gonna happen to Bendy, his legs were jiggling and that music at the end 😰
I really like this style of cartoon character. I liked the little wedges in their eyes for some reason. I called them "chip eyes" as a kid. It's nice to see a lot of people seem to like the old cartoon style. There's something comforting about the cutesy style.
Well, to a point, at least. The way it just cuts off reminds me of a Japanese animated adaptation of Grimm's Fairy Tales. When I was little my grandpa recorded The Brave Little Tailor on a VHS tape. The recording stopped right at the point where the tailor was going to confront some dragons, so I never knew what happened.

In terms of all of the bendy Cartoons we got I love this one the most due to it’s smoother frames and animations and relative good quality and believability as an old toon

This was the FIRST Bendy cartoon we got to see by Joey Drew Studios (In Game), it's very quirky!
There's gonna be more of Bendy sometime later, if I remember correctly. Maybe, in the next of Bendy's developments we'll find the lost ending.

Since this bendy cartoon release back in 1929, it's now in public domain!
This may be the last episode Henry ever animated. The ending was lost due to the animator Henry leaving the studio. He wanted to "end" it with Bendy smiling at, you guessed it, Henry. Because the true meaning of that ending is that he hoped Henry would have a better future and a safe journey, seeing his creator one last time.
