I'm definitely buying one, but I'll wait for the model that flies for an hour or so. 20 minutes is just not long enough for me.
I'm excited to see where these personal aircraft go and how they develop as battery technology improves. I'd love to see these become practical and common for day to day travel, in my life time. 😀
Unless the Oil companies are making a dollar off this, you'll never see this commercially

The dream to fly was a dream of almost everyone in their childhood....many came to realize that flight in various ways....from becoming manned aviators to flying simple RC Aircraft....to even dream about flying something like the Jetson is sadly a dream most will never fulfill .

I’m a pilot, and when I drive, I often say „driving is hard“ when I see ineptitude. I can’t wait to see people in their flying cars; yippee.
if people cant drive down the road without a problem , hows flying going to go ? thats the last thing we need .
flying is easy, once you learn. flying is mostly safe BY YOURSELF in GOOD WEATHER. The problem in the USA is going to be lack of manufacturing and obesity.

I couldn’t really afford the Jetson - One at the moment so bought a Paramotor learning to fly that at the minute 🪂🤣
Of all of the ones I've seen, this is the one that interests me the most. I'd like to see the propellers caged for protection, but otherwise, would be so ready to do this. The coolest part is that someone like me who is scared of heights could start low at tree top level, and slowly work their way higher to get used to it.
I can imagine lots of diced pilots once people start flying in crowded airspace.
Ever fall from a treetop? It hurts (if you're lucky).
Treetop level is juuuust high enough to maim you for life. Or kill you if you do it right.
My fear isn’t rational, nor has roots in real danger. Riding an elevator in a tall building sets it off. Eiffel Tower? Not going to happen. Embassy suites top floor overlooking the atrium? Nope. I recognize the risk this vehicle represents. Fall safety teaches a minimum of 6 feet. My fear kicks in at about 10 feet. My point is simply that I would be able to control how quickly I could get acclimated.

What a thing. It propably will not stop very fast, you have to keep that in mind all the time. When it has minimum one hour range, then...wow. Flying it would be like the ultimate high.

I hope I'm still here to see many jetson replace common transportation. I envy you sir. I've enjoyed single engine aircraft ultralight and hanggliders . But this has to be on its own level and all around a better flight than other I've seen on the market.someday I will.👏👍

Making everyone a pilot is a great solution to the overpopulation issue. Some free marketing advice: change the slogan to: "fly like the jetsons" and add an autopilot with just one button "fly to programmed destination". Btw love what you are doing and following!

The rotor supports should be shaped like airfoils with a 6” chord min to add lift at speed and allow more of the rotor thrust to give more height to the cruise altitude with the improved inflow angles.

But most of the airflow is vertical from the props, and that airfoil would be in its way ...

Focus on the reflection in the helmet and observe how pilot navigates through the landscape. Smooth slide.
In the early days of flight Men and machines were cutting edge. Many if not all were just one small mastake from death.
In today's world computer's let people test out things or people build on things that work.

When are you going to post a video without any soundtrack? We'd like to get an idea of what it sounds like, especially how loud it is at certain proximities, without any music track playing over the actual sound.
Have you heard a standard drone? Now amplify that by about 70% and add some bass
@@matrixmatrix911 I figured as much that that was the case, which made me suspect why they haven't (and probably won't) post any video that doesn't have any music placed on top of the original sound/audio.
@@k31than yep, showing the true noise of this gimmick would immediately kill this project, this will never exist in any commercial sense unfortunately
Some sort of light protection around the props would be great...Could be 2 sliding (circular telescopic) halves, so it doesn´t take more space on the ground.
Actuator to deploy them could be on the same principle of electric telescopic car antennas.
