Pax should not have left Alpha. There is just too much missing. I started maybe a week after EA started, the server completely dead of all life, I grinded 2 days and after making and throwing 20,000 spears on the ground I left. Now, instead of being excited for the games future, I resent that I paid for such an unfinished product. The game has great potential and I hope all those who also had a similar experience to me give the game another chance when it's less of an Alpha and more of an EA title.

Honestly I think you could have mentioned that placing a post and backing up to it puts you in first person for construction/build mode. It's not the best solution but in some situations it's far better than trying to maneuver around for a minute looking for the best angle.

Agree with all your points, although "the grind' is directly cancelled by the clan/community in your pro list. If only us solo players had a marketplace system (it is coming) that would help not get stuck by some crafting skill you don't have leveled up just yet. What server/area are you, I'd like to stop in and see the build 1st hand?
Prometheus, innis galia, aras, do a 360 when you spawn and look for a tall pointy tower. Run directly towards that until you meet the cliff, then take the stairs up
Is the grind better or worse than wurm online? That's the question here. If ya'll don't know, in Wurm online it can take 1 real world month to build a ship, that I'm told. So, if the grind is faster than that, I'm sold.!!

The only thing that was thought til the end in the game is how much they charge you for it and make you pay for every little piece of land you can build on. I am afraid they are rubbing their hands already and see it as a success.

Personally, and I gripe about audio volumes, this was only mildly annoying because of the loud music. It definitely wasn't as bad as some review videos I've watched. I could hear you fine, but I think it would be better with lower music volume. Clarity-wise, I thought it was fine. I'm going to hold off getting this game until I hear of some major improvements. I potentially have some time but need to be doing actually important things to improve my real life, so then I don't really have time for stupidly lengthy grind. That price tag is ridiculous for what it seems I'd be getting, and uncertain of what the devs are actually going to do. One question I have is, what if I buy only one plot of land? Couldn't I just build a very very tall tower containing all the stuff I would have put on two or more plots? Or have they limited the number of floors artificially to prevent that? Also, does this game, or does it plan to, have a way to dig underground rooms, basements, etc? That second question isn't so much a gamebreaker, more curiosity.
@@BattleAngelFan99 The current structural support system limits build height. You might be able to squeeze everything into 1 plot but it would be really difficult and you likely wouldn’t be very efficient without multiples of certain crafters like the smelters because they operate on a real time basis for production. I have not heard any plans for underground mining/building as of yet. If I had to guess I would say that’s not likely in this game since it’s not built around a “voxel” type world like Minecraft/enshrouded/astroneer/etc….
