Theres just something about this channel that rocks. Even if its a serious topic, like old mates hand on the winder, theres just something about the dead pan delivery of the commentary. But, where Credit Card Captain excells is in the dry, Australian desert dry, delivery that just gives it that extra sting in the tail. This is why THIS is the very best boat ramp channel on the internet. By a nautical mile.
This why you are the best ramp channel. You will try to help when people are going to damage something and are very personable. There is another cereal general channel and he is rather annoying so when CCC posts a video I’m happy to get the notification. Truly the best ramp channel with Paige and Kevin as my second choice. Both channels are run by decent people and those are the people we should reward with our digital attention. We do however need more content. We’re starving here.
Can you direct me to the channel you mentioned? I have mostly watched this channel, but have watched some of Big Dan. I tried watching "Chit Show" Albert, but hated watching that one. I'm not familiar with Paige and Kevin, but would like to give them a shot. Thanks in advance.
Never mind, I found it. Nothing showed when I searched "boat ramp", but when I came back here I got the name and searched and found them. It seems they never speak....I like CCC's explanations of things!
For anyone wondering, they've got the trailer too deep and thays why they cant get the bow eye over that nose pad without powering up. With the trailer that deep its at an angle while the boat sits flat in the water, if you pull the trailer up out of the water just a bit more, the bow will hit the bunks and ride up the trailer better, dropping the transome and getting the boat level with the trailer rather than with the water, making it so the bow eye is in line with the winch rather than way low like it was. It'll also help centre the trailer as it'll have better contact with the bunks across the whole length of the boat as you load it.
Right. I noticed that the bunks were completely submerged which told me it was too deep. If the front of the bunks were out of the water, they wouldn't have had that problem.
Hello CCC: Thank you for another educational video sir. It was kind of you to inform this guy of his mistake or it would have been in the yard for some expensive hull repairs. Thanks again CCC & my best to you & the family, TMP from N.J.
Both your videos, and commentary, are the best of all the others out there. I live a mile from Lake Erie and there are several boat ramps. Im thinking of going out and do some video to see what is happening. I will send one when I get out there. Thanks CCC.
New sub here, love your Channel and commentary. Found you through LackLusters channel. I do believe these videos prove boating and alcohol DO NOT Mix!😂
If you’re reading this, get rid of the bow roller since you have the V stop. Then move the winch assembly forward on the trailer so anchor doesn’t hit. I just went thru this with a new boat and trailer that wasn’t set up properly
I had to learn the hard way at a very young age of 7. Growing up, down of south miamii in Cutler ridge we had boat winches that would pull a boat straight up on a boat ramp in your backyard from the canal. I learned very quickly, with a hit to my chin that knocked me out in gave me stitches for scar. In that particular scenario leverage can be your friend or your nemesis, be careful out there please. Make sure you put that lock on or you may hurt yourself or even more someone else.
Someone should start a company where 2 guys launch your boat for you and then move on to the next person. Kinda like a marina worker but third party. Idk just a thought. Id use it to save myself the time. People pay people to grocery shop for them soooo
#1, trailer is too deep, that's why the boat is climbing the winch block, #2 You gotta be smarter than a non animate mechanical object, I was waiting for the anchor to take him out, that was close, twice. Guy needs a lottery ticket.
If you put the boat back on the trailer at the same depth it came off you don’t need to use an engine. There’s absolutely no reason to throttle up on a trailer. It just means your not deep enough.
I always wear those padded knuckle gloves when wrenching my boat up, that happened one time long time ago never again, it will soap the crap outta your hand 5 times before you can move it, lol and if this guy was very smart he would get a big pool noodle slice off two pieces about 2 feet long slice it down the middle and use 1/2” wide Velcro straps to hold it onto edge of anchor, he’s in fir a head injury he just dosen’t see it coming, way they power up that boat eventually his number is coming up, avoid it for under 10.00. I use pieces of pool noodles for everything, they float and inexpensive if lost, can take it iff after loaded if do t like the looks of noodle on anchor lol
The anchor almost split that guy's skull, not once, but twice. I don't think that guy realizes how lucky he was.
He's got a hand that will remind him for a while just how dangerous loading a boat can be. Hopefully he doesn't split his head open.
I Really hope the camera angle makes it look worse then it was..
@@heat1235 yeah I think the camera angel makes it look 10x worse. He is off to the side
With the collective intelligence of this group, do you really think an anchor to melon is going to do much harm?

That is exactly what I was thinking. Trailer was too deep.
They'll learn. Take the boat out a handful of times and you'll get it.
Happens alot

@@Asimo44 some people aren't happy unless the rear wheels are underwater and the exhaust is bubbling.
Good man helping him. Kindness is never wasted.
Man I thought he was about to catch an anchor to his noggin
Good to see you back Captain. Unfortunately missed alot of tbe action because of portrait mode filming. Love your work.
Welcome back Captain
I love how you offer advice, not just criticism!
Good job for helping them. Some people are not mechanically inclined, they just don't know

Great video, Glad to see your back. Take care.
Good heads up for your newer boat owners that watch you Cap'n.

Glad you like them! Can't wait to see what footage you capture!
Good looking out my guy. Way cool of you.
Glad to see a new video!!!!!
Capts and deck hands not always the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree
The best and worst ouch you’ll get and definitely remember
Your a good guy for telling them
New sub here, love your Channel and commentary. Found you through LackLusters channel. I do believe these videos prove boating and alcohol DO NOT Mix!😂
Easy to do. Caught myself making the mistake. Be safe out there.
I used to love sitting at a boat ramp and watch people load their boats...You can pick out in a minute rookie boat owners....
If you’re reading this, get rid of the bow roller since you have the V stop. Then move the winch assembly forward on the trailer so anchor doesn’t hit. I just went thru this with a new boat and trailer that wasn’t set up properly
Everything ok in the CCC home? We miss the videos and hope everything is ok with you and family.

At least he’s not bleeding, been there done that, got the tee shirt!

Helps to get all the idiots off the boat first before loading. Making that guy work even harder with all the extra weight he's pulling up.
Or all go to the bow. It’s more fun to watch that way. Lol
This is an exercise in how to make an easy job difficult 😂
Boat ramps, the greatest show on the planet
The strap goes over the roller on my boat it just works better that way because the bow eye sits higher than the roller.
That dude almost lost a finger
Geez….this guy!
You’re the reason they have to put directions on shampoo bottles.
Ouch 🤕
I say let them drink it.
Now that is funny! About the toilet paper!you are a good man for pointing out the errors of their ways. 😁🛫
GOOD GAWD MAN !
YEP Credit card captain more money then cents. I am in pain just from watching.
I made that mistake last Saturday on my first time boating but I caught it on time I was like that don’t look right 😅
Been many moons ago but I've done this myself. lol
Gotta be smarter than ur tools, they’ll get ya.
We call it the 10% Rule here at CCC. You have to be 10% smarter than the object you're working with.
Rather not get with the price of a boat either!😅
Got 2 screws in my right index finger 2 years ago due to a winch handle spinning on me like that. Definitely not fun.
I drove home with my boat not having strap hooked at all, well,,,, I mean most of the way home with my boat.
Dont forget , snap the strap.
I took the crank to the bridge of my nose with my first boat, ouch.
Evidently nobody uses an electric winch
I am positive my manual winch has never needed to crank more than 1/2 a turn in 25 years.
Boating is soooo complicated!
For god sake, don’t let this guy walk under helicopters
We need more Contant how come you have not been posting new videos
Man I has that wench come back and hit my two knuckles and I cursed for hours. It hurt so much.
Thank you ......more, more, more
In the North East we call'em Googans!
So so easy, but so so hard for some.
From all the bone headed stunts I see in these wideos, apparently common sense and boating doesn't go hand in hand.
The question is..who’s boat is it?
Jesus, someone tell these guys to stop jamming that throttle so hard
Hopefully they learned their lesson
#1, trailer is too deep, that's why the boat is climbing the winch block,
#2 You gotta be smarter than a non animate mechanical object,
I was waiting for the anchor to take him out,
that was close, twice.
Guy needs a lottery ticket.
These guys are a hazard to themselves
All the money spent, they’re better off with a Boat Latch
Captain Obvious
Trying to get his ass whooped...
Just because they got money doesn’t mean they have common sense
The two go hand in hand. The higher the net value, the lower the IQ.
It’s a shame that the boat dealer will take all that money from you and not show you how to do these things.
Dees guys know what they are doing, forget about it.
I bet the guy was calling you out for being a Monday morning Quarterback...just saying 😊
Dam! That video made me cringe. Winch guy could've got really messed up!
Painful to watch public boat ramps
Can't believe what I just watched, they shouldn't be allowed to go anywhere near a boat what other stupid things did they do while on the water.
Счастливые люди есть где слипануться...а у нас заборы шлагбаумы и непролазность...
JFC !!!
👍🤙
Too much money and no sense
Amature hour
Common sense is not as common..
This is painful to watch.
Do they not teach you how to trailer a boat in Mexico
If you put the boat back on the trailer at the same depth it came off you don’t need to use an engine. There’s absolutely no reason to throttle up on a trailer. It just means your not deep enough.
Tell your boy to get the hell off the front of the boat man
I always wear those padded knuckle gloves when wrenching my boat up, that happened one time long time ago never again, it will soap the crap outta your hand 5 times before you can move it, lol and if this guy was very smart he would get a big pool noodle slice off two pieces about 2 feet long slice it down the middle and use 1/2” wide Velcro straps to hold it onto edge of anchor, he’s in fir a head injury he just dosen’t see it coming, way they power up that boat eventually his number is coming up, avoid it for under 10.00. Trailer is backed in the water to far.😮
*too
They still need to wind the strap on the winch the other way. 🫤
You can’t buy common sense!!
Idiots should not have boats.
Unfortunately, they don't come with IQ tests.
