I feel like a lot of people in the south join frats and sororities as a way to actively socially exclude non-white people. It's a petty, childish mindset that manifests itself in terrifying ways. As demonstrated in the video. Fraternities and sororities, at the end of the day are, pipelines for high value men and women to maintain their status by mingling among their own. Pretty much the closest thing we have to an aristocracy in modern day America. You're either part of the club, or you're not. That's why it attracts the most empty, vapid, superficial type of people you could ever possibly hope to find.

What is your opinion on student atheletics and sororities/frats for introverted/quiet/shy people? What if you love volleyball and have the potential but hate performing? :(

Bid day is a day were a couple of the girls ( usually around 15) that signed up for the sorority join and it's a big day and kappa is the name of the sorority.

It comes down to just being better than one of the girls who was on that team the year before. And to be better than someone means you've got to put the work in. You can do it!! Train hard!
wow ... to think you go to college in order to gain greater exposure to diversity in all aspects of life ...i.e. languages, cultures, perspectives, nationalities, social backgrounds, and ethnicities ... just to name a few!

hectic and fun! I barely got to be a part of my sorority. I had to miss a lot for volleyball.
