Poetry: jessica Care moore + King Thomas Moore

Hosted by renowned poet, playwright, performance artist and producer jessica Care moore and her son, King Thomas Moore, this workshop aims to help youth experience the benefits of creating and expressing themselves through poetry. jessica’s poetry has been heard on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the London Institute of Contemporary Arts. In 2016, King won a Knight Arts Challenge Award to launch a 12 & Under Super Cool Poetry Open Mic Series in Detroit.
