What a grounded person! I'm 34 and regret every day not having an education. My ears pricked up when I heard that was the age Kimberly was when she started her degree. Thank you for the inspiration.

Kimberley, I’m doing catch up on my video watching as I go to school now.... I stopped this video & my heart started pounding, & yes goosebumps, because I think I live down the street from you!! 😲. I moved in with my older brother & his wife June 17/2020 when I left the organization from the province of Québec in 2018 ( long story) 33 years in. I would love to see you, I’m a walker, please reach out to me. OK I’m going to continue your interview if I can contain my excitement & concentration 🤪💜

Programmed from the Jump to do things a certain way. Always remember asking myself when am I gonna use this knowledge later on ?
It's ment for learning obedience to the authorities (like the Jehova's witnessess cult) Like now in this 'plandemic': people follow the rules without questioning the state.
      The schoolsystem will teach lies:
      globe instead of flat earth
evolution theory instead of God who made the earth
      without education you are lost
the 'ratrace' is the way you should live
      etc..
It's keeping you busy with bull**** to keep you away of God's truth.
The world is ruled by Freemasons, all over the world and the Freemasons have their own God (lucifer).
Universities teach that science is reliable. So human knowledge (fallen science) is above the Word of God.

    Fantastic interview..so informative and interesting.
Kimberley, may I ask about your siblings, do you have a relationship with them?
Your life as a Witness and beyond is so interesting, I can’t wait to read your book.💜

Thanks, Krista! :) I am one of seven siblings - a mix of full, half, and step. My half siblings are baptised witnesses that have faded and live a completely 'worldy' life but still treat me like I'm disfellowshipped so that they don't lose the affections of our father and their mother. My stepbrother is PIMI and completely shuns me - except for the one text message I got from him when I was attacked. I don't know my oldest sister. The only relationship I have currently is with my full brother. Our family is a complete and epic disaster...because of the religion. Luckily, I have my own family now...husband and son...so there is always a bright side. I appreciate your interest...sorry for the long reply. ;)

Thank you so much for your interview Kimberly. I know what you’re saying about wanting that family, seems you have suffered a lot of abandonment in your life. You have REALLY been through a lot. I agree as (x)witnesses we don’t have the roots foundation connection or education...
We can chose a new family now and maybe discover and reacquaint ourselves with ones from the past who want to be in our lives.
I finished Crisis of Conscience a couple months ago and also Lloyds book The Reluctant Apostate... both sooooo good.
Which has led me to researching religions and the Bible and the origin of life, and now of the mind that religion is not something I want in my life. The Bible seems to me to be the source of so many problems. The witnesses just seem to interpret it even worse and more hurtful than most.
I appreciate all you shared, thank you

Thank you so much for your comment 😊 I'm sorry for the late reply...just catching up now. Those two books were the final nails in the coffin for me...I can't believe how in the dark I was even after so many years out...I guess I was a POMI and didn't know it. Good luck with your research, and if you're anything like me, remember to take mental breaks often, as I found the research emotionally draining...while at the same time enlightening and addictive! ☺️

@@KimberleyBlack we probably stuck in so long because it was taught to us by parents we love and that is our natural response as children to absorb what they teach and what pleases them. And I also think it kind of served as an abusive relationship does a form of love, all we knew, a way of gaining approval and we thought we were being “good people” and seeking approval, such a vicious circle. Certain things stand out to me, I have never been able to think homosexuality was a choice and something wicked and also the shunning/disfellowshipping is such terrible abuse and breaking up families and causing suicides if not broken people with broken lives...
Which is what I was until I really started digging about 2 years ago. But still in a lot of pain and that will never fully go away but better now than any longer to try to work through it, help myself, keep learning and growing I also have a therapist now who I have the book “cracking the cult code” Bonnie Zieman.
Anyway I get it! And you are a wonderful inspiration. Glad I found you from lloyd I guess it was...

You make excellent points here....and I'm sorry to hear you are still experiencing pain. It never really goes away, does it? We simply learn to cope. I will be ordering the books about dealing with the aftermath of leaving cults.... they're on my list of must reads...and I'm so glad to hear you are benefiting from them!
