  • I am very happy that I can show you a big tree for once. We have gained a lot of experience with the machine over the years. Locking the lower links and taking the load off the front axle increases the stability a lot! Normally we pull the trees up to the trail. For this video I wanted to show what is possible.
The head of the Hypro has a slight play here. Hopefully, this shows that trees up to 40 cm in diameter can be processed.
For a machine weighing 2070 kilograms (without the hydraulic unit in the rear), such a performance is quite remarkable.
The time-lapse video of 40 minutes of working time comes next. (Day 2)
Other models from the company Hypro are the 755 HB, 450 XL and the 300.

Hi, I am happy that I can show you so much. Three of the eight videos have comments, so you get a good overview over the machine.

Hello. I think that is not a bad idea to have prosessor in front linkage. You seems to have ready roads in forest, dont need to drive in difficult forest conditions over stones and stubs, and like you showed, it doesnt hurts frontaxle when you are working on trees. And no expesive and dumb cab modifikaton in cab to work backvards and then flip over to drive. now you sits normaly and defrosting and things works normaly in cab. I have hakki/nokka 400 on trailer, and crene on tractor, and I does want too have spruses and branches spreaded eavenly not big stacks

      Hello.
You have already described a lot of positive qualities. Thanks to our well-opened forests, the transport of the logs is quick and easy. The fact that all the branches remain close to the roadside is a problem of which we are aware. The Nokka 400 is certainly also a good machine, and if it leaves the branches in the forest, it is excellent for the soil.
We could talk about these themes for a very long time.
Hypro would also have offered us a trailed version. But for that you would need a reverse drive system, which we didn't have.

Have you tried to have a wagon behind at the same time to get the timber out at one drive?

We thought of that, but don't have the space in the back. The hydraulic unit is driven by the rear PTO. The tractor would then no longer be that manoeuvrable.
