    • Residential Zero Turn ...
    In this video I compare the 2023 Residential Zero Turn Mowers offered by Cub cadet, Stihl, and Exmark.
    To compare the models I look at the overall build quality, the deck, what transmissions are offered, what engines are offered, the quality and build of the frame, and other features. We'll also compare the warranties on each model.
    There are two different price points I use compare the brands models. $3.5k - $4 range and the $6.5k - $7.5k price range.
    Thanks for watching!

    I bought a used Commercial Husqvarna 61" with a Kawasaki twin engine almost 20 years ago for $2100. I put two belts, one used hydro pump (200 bucks), a couple of sets of blades, two control dampers for the handles. The hydro pump replacement could have been avoided, my fault.
    Used commercial for residential use has been a winner for me....

    If you only had $1500 to spend for a residential lawn tractor or used Zero Turn what would be a good one used if in good condition. I found for sale a Club Cadet RZT-L in great condition with 625 hours for $1300 delivered. Guy bought a zero with suspension is what he is selling it. Anyone familiar with this one? Your videos and knowledge is top notch so hank you for the time you put into your great videos.

    Hi so watching your videos you compare bad boy and scagg. You didn't say whether you'd take a bad boy vs cub cadet or a husqvarna. You did say that you'd take the husqvarna over the cub cadet. Is it just the difference in price range?

      Between the Scagg, Bad Boy and Cud Cadet it really comes down to price. All 3 of those are great. Is money was an issue I'd probably go with Scagg.

    Surprised at the quality of those cub cadets but MTD leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The Stihl (rebadged Ferris) looks ok, but the question is would it be worth buying over an actual Ferris?. Not a fan of that ex mark/toro branded engine, if you look closer on the label looks like it’s made in China. Probably a cheap clone engine. Shame they have gone to using those instead of a Kawasaki or Kohler.

      @@marekkrepa9982 The cub cadets are higher quality, no doubt about it, but MTD (who makes Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, Bolens, etc) has a lot of really poor designs and I wouldn’t want to own one of their products. The beefy frame and deck is great, but it’s the small things you don’t see that will show themselves later on.

      Which brand are you leaning towards?

    • @michaelhalstead64
      @michaelhalstead64 6 месяцев назад

      @@Mechanical_Mind I think you’ll be disappointed but leaning towards a Toro. My budget is a little higher so looking at the Titan line. Features to feature it costs a little more. But it feels the most refined. I’m sure they all make grass shorter. But some are so overbuilt but still don’t feel quality. Gravely was maybe my second favorite. The John Deere don’t seem worth what they cost with stamped decks on a $8k machine. Really didn’t like the cub. For some reason I don’t care for the bad boy, could be the name or color.
