    There are definitely benefits to be had with Visa cards, but you can definitely see a step up once you hit the Visa Infinite level. Generally I honestly forget that my cards come with these extra benefits, but the one I did just recently pay more attention to was Mastercard’s cell phone protection. Since I got a new phone, I didn’t want to have to pay for extra insurance every month, but luckily my Custom Cash had me covered. Thanks for the breakdown!

    I've used the "Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection" Visa Infinite benefit with my CSR. Frankly, I found it comparable to Amex's FHR & Hotel Collection. Was a bit confused as to why I should pay Amex more; that is, until I remembered their Global Lounge collection, including Centurion😎 I should also mention that Visa Infinite's car rental pgm via CSR is vastly superior the Amex's.

    • @RJFinancial
      @RJFinancial  Год назад +2

      Probably need to do a standalone vid on that. I feel like it's one of those things that gets skipped over. Maybe because amex give the credit with the FHR deal. Honestly, CSR could probably put more of a focus on the Infinite benefits and close the gap somewhat between the two cards.

      @@RJFinancial you’re right, I didn’t know about that benefit until after I got the card. With the $300 travel credit, and 10,000 annual points on renewal and now the $99 shipt credit, it’s a keeper for a while now for sure.

    Visa infinite cards have a 10k minimum credit line and Visa signature cards have a 5k minimum credit line. With poor credit years ago I was able to get a Chase SWA priority Visa with a 6k line but it was a Visa traditional card. A few years later with an improved 725 FICO I tried to get the Chase United Explorer which is a Visa signature card, despite the improvement in My FICO score and Me being well under 5/24 I was denied the card and denied again by the recon department

    • @RJFinancial

      Sorry to hear it. Chase can be picked at times and they don't give much info as to why. It can help to try in branch, sometimes bankers can make things work given your score should be fine for this type of card

    RJ,
    What a great video Sir. I had no idea that the payment networks offer these perks. Yet the banks have to choose to add them or not? So I am confused if it's a visa signature or a visa infinite wouldn't it be automatic because it's visa? Or do the banks have to pay for these benefits to have them on the cards? Hmm. Such a great video thanks for the breakdown buddy.

    • @RJFinancial

      I think the Visa Infinite benefits are almost universal but there are only 5 Infinite cards out at the moment. The Signature benefits are hit or miss. Kinda how we talked about price protection earlier today. Or better yet, think of Mastercard and Citi. Those cards are still World Elite but Citi stopped offering all the benefits.

    I have the BOA customized cash rewards credit card and it’s a visa signature, I wonder what kind of special benefits I’m supposed to be getting with this card??? 🤔🤔🤔 I also have the JetBlue world MasterCard, when I travel to Jamaica (Caribbean) & rent cars from budget they waive some collision fee I heard RJ talking about, this saves me $500 so I always use the JetBlue card to rent at budget

    • @RJFinancial
      @RJFinancial  Год назад +1

      The collision waivers are the most underrated benefit. Even when the CSP was considered terrible, to get primary CDW for $95 was a win if you rent cars a few times a year.

      Look at the cards portal with the issuer. Some do require enrollment/activation. Others like insurances for example, you'd use the card to make the purchase. Then if you needed to file a claim you'd follow the issuers/payment works process for submitting it

    Wait so i can get global entry with the csp even though the card itself doesnt have the benefit ?

    • @RJFinancial
      @RJFinancial  Год назад +1

      Not exactly. It's up to the issuers which benefits they offer from the payment network. There are Visa Signature cards that offer it, I think some of the United cards may have it. Chase offers global entry on the CSR, not the CSP. Likely to differentiate the two cards but technically they could offer it on the CSP if they wanted.

    bro I have very very important Question Does this card have online wallet? or you can just use it like that does have like online wallet like wise or any other visa card?

    • @RJFinancial
      @RJFinancial  2 месяца назад

      This isn't a card. Visa is a payment network that the banks can use. If a card has mobile wallet or not is up to the card issues (bank). Most of them do now and it's probably used as a 'feature' they market so it'd be on the promo page in my experience

      @@Axile929 It’s a type of Visa card but it works the same as all others. You’d check with the bank via their portal or app to see credit limit
      Chase sapphire reserve is a visa infinite card for example. All managed via Chase app.
      Visa only facilitates transactions. They don’t have anything to do with lending.
