Thanks for a nice, clear upload. I love this piece so much. And I agree with a lot of other posters, I like the television version more than the film adaptation. Rod Serling was terrific.
Corporate greed has no room for decency and the working man...😢 Not unlike Politics and government, though there are times when they yield to good and righteous men and women....let us hope.
I want to add that Ramsey isn't the mean SOB that he comes off as. Without spoiling it, something bad happens and Ramsey obviously responded in a humane fashion. Of course, he goes right back to business when it's all said and done.
@@PizzaFLIX Ah, I never knew the movie version was a theatrical release. Makes sense, as the era for topnotch TV movies came later. This was the live TV golden age.
The Teleplay, IMO, is better than the movie. Mostly because Richard Kiley is a better choice for Staples. This is more of a young man's journey.
I agree. I like this version better than the film version as well.

LOVE FROM MISSISSIPPI USA 🇺🇲
It's fun seeing all the familiar faces from earlier in some of their careers. Thank you for the show. 🙂🖖
Another entertaining show from PizzaFlix. Thank you..
This is the 1955 Kraft Television Theatre version, and not the 1956 movie version released by United Artists.
Correct. I added “TV-1955” in the title to differentiate it from the 1956 movie version🍕🥸🍕
Love those older black and white movies. The beginning of telephone age. 😅 😂
It's "down to Portland" from Seattle, not "over", lol. Like watching a live play. Lovely.
