I have many good memories of going out to the kite festival with groups of friends-- and many times failing to keep our kites flying. It was always fun.
Thanks a lot, Rob. Where i come from, so many kites in the air at the same time will end in a fight over strings attaching to each other :) Love your videos and the city.
Great videos Rob! Question for someone who hasn't been to DC, does the metro, bus, etc still take cash? Alot of places and services seem to being going cashless recently. Thanks!
@@TripHacksDC Dang, I was thinking a video like, "Best tips for travelling to D.C During the Inauguration," Or something like that. Understandable why you wouldn't want to make one in the current political climate, though.
Hi Rob, this is unrelated to kite flying, but I know you just published this video, so I figured I’d run these questions on metro by you. I’ve watched your metro videos but I have these questions: If I have the smartrip app, can I use it for other adults in my party? What if one of the adults is a senior and not capable of using the app or a smartrip card? How do children get on metro? Is a smartrip card or app needed for every child over a certain age? What is that age? Citymapper app does not look look it exists any longer. Is that true? Is there an alternative app you recommend? If it’s not obvious by now, I value your efforts to communicate how to travel in dc. The kite flying video was great btw. Thank you, and any feedback would be appreciated. Ron

It's harder than it looks!
It's been 20 years since I've been to this lovely event. Usually follow by a stroll to the Chanel Boutique on 16th Street, N.W.
Nice!
Thank you Rob .
I enjoy your videos .
You're welcome!
