Oh how I miss those days... carefree wonderful afternoons watching my soaps....... Life was so much more simple then...... brings tears to my eyes hearing this.......

Thank you so much for uploading this wonderfully nostalgic classic! I have been binge watching 1989 thanks to the classic oltl channel. I have a whole new respect for this show. I always loved it, but I don't think I ever gave it the credit it deserved for great story writing until now. Even though the escaped convicts hiding out in an Atlantic city boxing ring is a little tough to take, LOL
I can imagine this on a Friday in September 1990 during the closing credits: Announcer: Dave Traini, Bruce Seymour and Bob Verini will battle for the biggest prize ever awarded on Jeopardy!, in the finals of Super Jeopardy! Join host Alex Trebek for the exciting conclusion of the $250,000 Challenge Saturday night at 8/7 Central. Dave Coulier talks about his life away from the set of “Full House” as he takes you on a tour of his home, Monday morning on The Home Show. Robin meets an alien from another planet. Stay tuned for General Hospital following an ABC News Brief, next.

This song reminds me of my wonderful childhood.
I love playing this in my car with the windows down!
This brings back sooooo many memories! Gosh, can television be like this again?
I know right
Have you heard actress Andrea Evans best known for portraying Tina Holden from One Life To Live has died. She was 66 years old.😢♥🙏🌹

This has been stuck in my head for a week! 😅 So happy you've uploaded it. Man, what memories.
OLTL theme makes me think of St. Elsewhere
@@ScoopNemeth That's because the 1984 OLTL theme was composed by Dave Grusin, who also composed the St. Elsewhere theme :)
Love the change at 1:49😍❤️
That’s where it sounds most like it’s sister theme “St.Elsewhere” both written by Dave Grusin.

LOL.... That about sums it up! Oh, that alien story was brutal
I think this is the best show of all time Todd Manning the greatest villain in soap opera history
@@BruceWayne-ri4wr So much so he was in a short lived primetime show during Todd Manning Mania" PREY" but it only last 4 episodes back in 1998.
This would be some good karaoke too. I’ve done it before. I had lots of fun.

Do u have the clear opening version of this along with the 1985 instrumental closing?
Too “synth”.
No such thing
Amen! OLTL's amazing background music was synth driven from 85-91 as well!@@NoelComiX
