As a Dodgers fan, I agree that there is no rivalry and there hasn't been anything remotely close to it since Dean Chance beat out Sandy Koufax for the 1964 Cy Young (Brilliant season from Mr. Chance. Seriously. Go look it up. He actually was better than Koufax in 1964, so one of the best seasons ever?). Besides that, the Dodgers have been well above the Angels, both historically and recently. Also, I don't really care about getting Koufax in the game. It would be cool, but I just want to see my favourite player ever, Orel Hershiser back in the game. I love watching old games where he pitched and I love using him in MLB The Show. Also, his delivery is cool and his pitch mix is nasty.
Sandy Koufax was a video game in real life, and I agree, he NEEDS to be in the game. HOWEVER, Sandy is still with us and is very much an old guy advocating for an active lifestyle. He might not like video games and refused to have his likeness in the game. I think that's a huge obstacle to get a lot of legends into the game that we don't talk about.
