You can see that she's feeling absolutely comfortable and free, standing where she is! I wish that I can free myself from the blockades of insecurity holding me back to sing with no worries in front of other people - I know it may sound overdone or whatever, but singing WITH Kelis songs helped me so much to improve and train my vocal stability..and abilities. She brings out the best of her beautiful voice, knows exactly how to use it..I sing since I was very young and it took a long time for my own voice maintain stability (that's singer gibberish 😂) Every singer has bad voice days, so to say. I always wondered how professional artist handle this issue, since they have to perform for at least 1hour in a row- life on stage, when they are on tour. Every singer has "bad voice days". It's because of hormones etc, one cannot influence. I know it's becoming routine in time, but to what degree!? I really would like to know!

I like the fact that she has enough balls to try different sounds. It means she is being true to her self and not "selling out".

You don't hear big full voices anymore. It's a shame. Very few of these soul artists could just sing with a piano these days, Kelis, Alicia Keys, there are very few soul/R&B singers that can do this anymore
I love her voice, I love this song. I know what she is talking about. You just wanna get along with your loved one, but it just never works out well. But stalkers: I was never suicidal and you will never get me that far, even though you try to manipulate everyone around me with your BS. And you not only took away all my human supporters, but you also took away my furbaby and killed it and with that, you also killed my other furbaby, cause she got sick through the stress. I hate you and will never love you. You know what is also a little crazy? The guy that made us happy in the last couple of years with a very special song called HAPPY, also wrote and produced this very sad, touching, but extremely brilliant and beautiful song. I will always love "Happy", as much as I will always love this song.
I agree... but there is a certain groove for everyone within trying out different sounds. It requires some feeling out to find something that is a perfect match. I do admire her ability to venture into new territories but I'm still not so into her new sound. Don't get me wrong I love Acapella, but overall its not my favorite sound for her. I don't agree w/ ppl calling her a sell out though.
That’s not her style. There were like 3 plus melodic changes. This is very jazzy and almost scatty. Stylistically embezzlement on the vocals wouldn’t fit .
