      Dark Chief have faith Fuller had a better season then Peters plus peters best years came when he was with Berry he won’t have a Berry. Peters gave up 4 touchdowns for 495 yards last season. Fuller was the #1 shut down slot corner in the league last season now he has Berry’s KC will be fine bro.

    • @TheJspan
      @TheJspan 6 лет назад

      Dark Chief and Fuller is younger then peters. Peters wasn’t a gonna stay in KC he has to many problems. Let’s LA deal with him KC got a lot of draft picks now to build there future.

      Mauricio Cortez never know Mahomes is different type of breed then most QB’s. History shows that yes but there is bound to be one QB who can lift the curse.

    What are the Chiefs doing. I'm okay with the Alex Smith trade, but Marcus Peters??? He is averaging 7 interceptions a year. He's always around the ball.

      Aidan Berk gives up big plays gives up touchdowns doesn’t go for the tackle goes for the interception. Kendall Fuller has a better season last year then peters didx

      As a Patriots/Redskins fan(yes fan of both lol) , smart move by y'all. You got probably the #1 corner in the league. Hopefully y'all didn't have to give away too much for him. I want to see LA have a better season. The NFL needs more competition and I think this can only help them this upcoming season. As long as they have one more corner to compliment Peters. Y'all are good. Hopefully y'all also do well in the draft again.

    • @EaglesFutureDynasty
      @EaglesFutureDynasty 6 лет назад

      TheSameDunce Marcus Peters ain't worth multiple 1st round picks 😂. You only give that up for franchise QBs. Marcus Peters is a locker room cancer. He had red flags coming out of Washington for character concerns. That's why the Chiefs gave up on him.

    • @realmccoy9

    Are the chiefs trying to tank, or no? I can understand trading away Smith cause you know, Mahomes is the future, but Peters? Sure the guy has character issues but he's been one of the best CB's in the league since coming into the NFL. If this deal doesn't include a first round pick from the rams, I would be stunned.

    • @hailthechief2
      @hailthechief2 6 лет назад

      Scotty Haines, I would almost guarantee that the Rams are shipping their 1st round pick to KC and maybe even a 3rd or 4th as well. Peters has put up numbers to get a 1st round pick for him. They have already said that the Rams are not trading a player to the Chiefs only draft picks. Peters was a 1st round pick and played like one. No way are the Chiefs getting anything less than a 1st round pick, unless it is 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, pick, which I highly doubt will happen.

    • @kingoffedoras9932
      @kingoffedoras9932 6 лет назад

      MELANATED TV bro ur giving Peters to much credit Eric Berry is the reason why peters was even considered elite as soon as Berry goes down peters struggles.

    • @hailthechief2
      @hailthechief2 6 лет назад

      MELANATED TV, Peters is no Gronk, Peters cusses out his own players and coaches and cannot tackle the smallest of receivers, he arm tackles and tries to strip everything and if help doesn't come, the receiver either breaks his tackle or fumbles. I liked Peters, he's great at reading the ball and going after it, but he is not the best cover CB and gets beat a lot down field.

  • @TheJspan
    @TheJspan 6 лет назад +16

    Without taking to much away from
    Peters his best years came playing behind Eric Berry when he didn’t play with Berry his stats were not “elite”....Sean smith plays with Berry he is elite goes to Oakland away from Berry he is a 3rd string at best. Eric Berry makes corners now he has a young one in Kendall Fuller.

    • @baatinagawo1207
      @baatinagawo1207 6 лет назад

      Joshua Spano Eric berry has been injured how has he made corners?
      He’s definitely top 5 safety but the chiefs have been winning in spite of his injuries. Aka their defense still performing without him.

    • @TheJspan
      @TheJspan 6 лет назад

      Baati Nagawo bro I am a Chiefs fan I watch every game it is a known fact Berry helps corners be elite look at peters with Berry and without ur looking at his 5 interceptions that’s all but ignoring the fact he gave up 495 yards and 4 touchdowns. Look at Sean Smith elite with with KC when playing along side Berry. The year Berry had cancer and was out Sean Smith did decent but nothing like he did when Berry’s presence was on the field. U say top 5 safety yet KC defense didn’t even step up until Berry returned 12/10 he talked to the defense hyped them up then defense went off last 4 games. Name another safety that doesn’t have to physically be on the field but can boost his teams level of play by simply being in the same arena as the team? Berry is the heart and soul of KC and anybody who doesn’t believe that knows nothing or cares to realize Eric Berry made that defense one down year without him and defense is close to last place.

    1) Have you SEEN Mahomes play? He is the future.
    2) Berry will be back.
    3) Andy Reid. That is all.
    4) Hunt/Hill/Kelce.
    5) Just acquired Kendall Fuller.
    I'm not expecting to win the Super Bowl, but come on.
    We lost 2 players. Let's all just settle down, and see how Peters does in LA/see what the Chiefs got in return before we jump to some outrageous conclusions.

    I know people say that Marcus Peters is full of baggage and the Rams are going to have to deal with that in the future. But essentially whether or not the Rams don't resign him in 2 years or they franchise tag him after the fifth year option, they have supplemented trumaine Johnson's spot and now have a lot of money to sign not only Aaron Donald but another key piece to their defense, whether it be Lamarcus Joyner or Sammy Watkins. The Rams would have struggled to do that even if they had just let trumaine Johnson walk. But by acquiring Marcus Peters they also get a top-flight cornerback and the money to keep the pieces they already have on the team intact. So even if Marcus Peters walks in 2 or 3 years the Rams have created cap space to sign key pieces to their defense and have filled that spot of need. A very smart and interesting move by the Rams

    • @TheJspan
      @TheJspan 6 лет назад

      imaratspal of course you don’t ur not a Chiefs fan. Ok so he played good after being penalized doesn’t make up for giving up 495 yards that season and 4 touchdowns bad look for an “top 5” corner. When he plays with Eric Berry he statistically was better. Peters can’t tackle that’s his problem

    • @TheJspan
      @TheJspan 6 лет назад

      Ryan 45 Kimball good at giving up yards. He will make up for it with a pick but don’t expect him to tackle that’s not something peters does. I have watched him for years he either gives up a huge play or makes a pick. But either way won’t tackle to save his life

  • @SnitchGaang0
    @SnitchGaang0 6 лет назад

    The way he controls the ball on his returns though! Pure skill to control it one handed and not fumble it! Marcus peters is a straight beast and the Chiefs are dumb letting him go just because he had one bad season. Give him a break Berry was out for the year and he had to face a new challenge by playing a bigger role in the Chiefs secondary!

    • @TheJspan

      Steelernation #StairwaytoSeven it isn’t because of his season it’s his attitude he has 24 penalties and 10+ of those 10 plus yards. He didn’t get along with fans,coaches and teammates he was a cancer in the locker room. He had to go. Plus he didn’t wanna be there anymore.

      chadwick hayes Exactly I couldn't have said it better myself Marcus Peters was a cancer in the locker room not to mention his off the field professionalism was not there, Nobody can deny his interception totals are absolutely amazing but Marcus Peters didn't tackle and if he didn't get the interception he got burned for a touchdownHe never tackled he always went for the phonebook granted sometimes that worked out great but more times than not it didn't. Having negative affects in the locker room can cause the team to fall apart internally I would much rather have a group of solid corners that are all on the same page then a wild card like Marcus Peters. He still is one of the top corner backs in the league but it was clear to see without Eric Berry Marcus Peters wasn't the same is interception total went down and his antics started to get worse and worse he forced his way out of Kansas City, Eric Berry and Kendall Fuller can pick up the slack

  • @majoricehole
    @majoricehole 6 лет назад

    I am split on this. Peters has skills that are not easily taught to CB position. Then again his tackling was not great. So teams short pass to big WR or back on Peters can take him out of game. I am glad he wasn't traded within our division. Wish the best of luck to him and thank him for time in KC.

    • @TheJspan
      @TheJspan 6 лет назад

      Peters is a great Ballhawk he gives up a lot of big plays because he always goes for the interception then the tackle. He makes up for it with picks though but costs teams with his attitude I understand it’s a passionate game but it’s a bad look when ur player goes and gets dressed cause he thinks he got ejected and the coaches want him on the field but he isn’t ready costing his team a loss. He got kicked out in college for his attitude the most laid back coach in the NFL in Andy Reid couldn’t handle him. Anybody that has ever known or coached him didn’t want him only 49ers&Rams no Eagles,Bears,Browns or even the Colts who need a corner wanted him. That says something

    • @TheJspan
      @TheJspan 6 лет назад

      19 interceptions in 4 seasons he also gave up 15 touchdowns and last season 4 touchdowns for 495 yards. He isn’t very loyal maybe if you guys get to a super bowl but ultimately he will probably bounce to go play for Oakland (his hometown)
