That was a delight to watch. My Dad played for and coached the Zollner Pistons. Fred or Mr. Zollner made all his money making pistons and sold a lot of them during WWll.
The movement history of some of the franchises like the Kings or Hawks is crazy. I went to a minor league hockey game in Rochester once and they have an NBA title banner on the ceiling of the old arena there. Syracuse too.
I don't think the Pistons won a championship before they left Fort Wayne - and I'm pretty sure the arena they played in has been torn down since. The arena the Pacers won 3 ABA championships in (Market Square) got torn down some years ago - but I think they transferred the banners in the move to Conseco.

Really enjoyed the video! Also, want to add something. Argentina was a FIBA founder, but not the only South American country where the sport early came. In Brazil, basketball was introduced by YMCA itself in 1896. Rio de Janeiro was the home of the first YMCA in Latin America, founded in 1894. Something similar happened in other South American countries. The first five editions of FIBA World Cup were played in South America. Also, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay played in 1936 Olympic games. Salute from Brazil!
The first major professional basketball league was the American Basketball League which operated from 1925-1931. It then suspended operations until 1933 but came back as a minor league. By "Merger", you meant "acquisition". A merger is when two companies become one company, whereas an acquisition is when one company absorbs another company; in this case, the BAA absorbed the NBL, so it was an acquisition.
