Never will a song have made me cry like this. Impossible for me to listen to it until the end. The
words are so true, they describe the death that comes to take the dying. Mylène
is too strong, she knows how to touch us with her lyrics. Thank you for this reaction
Thank you Cynthia for your respect for this song, I think we are both thinking of all families who have lost fathers, mothers and all members we loved.
L une des plus belles voix française j apprécie que vous découvrez des chansons françaises aussi belles y en a temps nous on connait vaut chansons sa fait plaisir de voire des américains d'écouter nos chansons ♥️
Whaow !! You are so lovely in red! Thanks for your emotion ambrose ☺️
This song is about the death of his father , it’s very private song lyrics .His emotion is strong because she lived it .
Wonderful interpretation of this song in live, Ambrose !
Mylène re-recorded the song in 1992 for the album Urgence bringing together 27 artists for research against AIDS, the profits of which were donated to the Institut Pasteur.
1 bar of this song makes me cry, every single time.
This song corresponds to me completely, because almost a month ago I lost my cat from a brain attack, she eat more, drank more. There was nothing we could do but watch her go. I told her that she meant a lot to me and made us happy and that I would love her forever. She said thank you. That night I had hope that she would get out of it but unfortunately she died and I suffer terribly .
So sorry for your loss
@@AmbroseCynthia Thank you so much
Thank for this video, and for all persons, this song has been translate by Peter Ferrera in english.
And this song was for father"s Mylène died :(
The fans suffer with Mylène because they know what this song represents for their idol ...
Thanks for your reaction ,this song is amazing , Mylène too and this live too 🤗 You're so beautiful in red hair. 🤗Thanks for your incredible video
Hello from France 🤗
You perfectly understand Mylene ...please listen and react to Ainsi soit je in her live 2009... you will feel this a hundred times more.. trust me.. thank yoy...
Hi Ambrose. I am humbled that you deemed my translation worthy. I loved seeing your vid pop up today!! I didn't really reflect the last lines as exactly as they should have been. If i may elaborate for your beautiful viewers. What Mylene is singing in the last words, is that the pain of losing her brother and her father- Mylene's fans have told me her brother was killed in a car accident when they were both in their twenties, and Mylene's father died in 1996- feels like a knife stuck inside her permanently. And that every time she thinks about them, it feels like someone is shaking the knife that is still stuck to her, which implies double the pain... sort of like all those warriors you see in movies that are trying to take out broken arrow-heads from their chests.
The other very enigmatic thing about this song is that- in French- Mylene changed the masculine and feminine conjugations of the words "knife" and "wound". In this live version, she sings "le couteau dans ma plaie"- which means "the knife inside the folds of my wound". In French "le couteau=the knife", is masculine. And "ma plaie=my wound", is feminine. So Mylene is singing it correctly in this live version from Mylenium. But in the recorded original song, Mylene intentionally sings "knife" as feminine, and "wound" as masculine. She sings "La couteau dans mon plaie" instead of "Le couteau dans ma plaie"...very stark. It actually makes little sense and sounds cryptic to a French speaker. Mylene's fans have always speculated it's a personal message that means something to her, but she does not want to reveal its significance. So Mylene's fans continue to speculate. Thank you again beautiful Ambrose. Mylene is the greatest singer in the world!...bar-none!!! No one even comes close to the Muse of the World!! Divas are a dime-a- dozen. There is only ONE MYLENE! timeless and at least for forever
Hello, Each time I listen to this song, I cry. The lyrics are powerful and her voice so fragile. This mixture made this song so unique! You are the first RUclipsr to react to this song. Thank you for this video! I love the orange colour of your hair. Is there any reference to Mylene?
Thank you 🤗
You know my love for Mylène... I admire her so much ! Thank you again beauty for sharing your feelings for this beautiful and powerful song ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏😘😘😘
I thought you would exactly do this song when you told me earlier about your next Mylene reaction video. This song Mylene actually dedicated to her dead father and it's about the last minutes spent by the side of a person, before dying in bed, as you can see in and figure out from the lyrics. It's one of her most emtional songs. "Pas le temps de vivre" from the same concert is also very emotional. And your reaction was so wonderful... I could see the emotions in your facial expression... but now you need something more uplifting from Mylene ! Sans contrefacon Live 2009 please ! I'm sure you will love this catchy song very much. Here's to your next one ! Sending you virtual hugs and smiles ! Yours, Gerry
🤗
troedelgerry And a few weeks after this concert, Mylène will lose her brother whom she adored in a car accident .... .
@@litogor No, that was in 1996... this concert was in 1999. Her father already died in 1986, I think.
@@troedelgerry Ohh yes yes sorry you are right I was confusing and I wrote too quickly lol! Otherwise, during her tour of 96, she also had a lot of tears while singing after the death of her brother because the tour was until 97 and her brother had just had the accident at the end of the year 96. I think it's even sadder than this video because the dramatic event was very recent and Mylène was very courageous to continue singing these kinds of songs until the end of this tour ...
Thank you for the video ♥️
Magnifique 😍
A beautiful reaction my dear ❤️

dernier sourire
tribute to his deceased brother
@@veroxxx729 Mylène has lost so many people She loved.
@@veroxxx729 Yes you are right, for his brother it is the song "pas le temp de vivre".
he film of "Live à Bercy" (1996) is dedicated to him ("à Jean-Loup" is recorded on the screen during the introduction).
The lyrics to "Pas le temps de vivre" (1999) are written for him (indicated in the Collector's Travel Diary of the album "Innamoramento": "to J.L").
The album "Innamoramento" (1999) is dedicated to him ("to J.L." indicated on the album's credits page).
Mylène personifies the memory of her brother in the character of Wolf, from the tale "Lisa - Wolf and the storyteller" (2003).
the original song sounds darker and heavier, here she sings calmer

I’m just saying. It seems that the English subtitles distract from the true reaction that arises to the performance of this song.
