That climb is a monster, but that is prolly the longest continuous descent in Durango. I like riding Junction Creek up to Gudy's Rest and bomb down Hoffheins. Ride back up Dry Creek to the CO TR segment that flows all the way back down to Junction. A nice mix of up and downs.
Great video man, that trail looks super cool. You said is a black trail, what’s your bike travel (fork and shock) ? It looks doable in a downcountry bike. Thanks
Much appreciated. The black trail rating comes from Silverton Single Tack Society's website. The bike is a YT Capra. Rock Shox Suspension. 160 mm travel front/back.
Kudos on your climb! And your relatable descent!

How long was the climb and then the descent?
The climb was a little under 4 hours, and the descent was less than an hour. Good times.
How do I get here?
copy and paste the title of this video in to google maps.
Do not ride it this direction. Just ride up the highway to Molas pass or shuttle. Miserable climb.
