Awesome build brother! Love the new twist! And now that the price of 2x lumber has came down... you can actually make one of those for a little over $3 in material! Margins don't lie... follow the profit margins and they will lead you to the $$$.

I also put a coating of glue on the bottom board ends to help prevent water from sucking up into the grain and slow rot. As far as selling them, I put them in my flea market stand, but there is no way I could get $60-$100 each for them.

Hey, Great safety advice on the use of a push block on the table saw. I would love to see you use full safety shield glasses too. I love this and was thinking of making a few just for personal use. How would you recommend placing them in the ground, not necessarily against a wall or fence?
6ft trellis around Tampa from Lowe's or Home Depot average $20-25 each, with cypress/cedar a bit more. BTW, It might be easier for some to use 2x4 PT SYP (which are already 1.5x3.5) ripped into .5" width, for about $3-$4, which is about the same price as 2 PT pickets. It might also be nice to chamfer the bottom of the trellis a little to make it easier to drive into the ground

I'm in the process of making a few of these.....fence pickets in our area including tax comes to about $11.50 ea. So we won't make as much, but still worth making. We are planning on a selling price of $50.
To keep the cost just about the same, I'd add a small metal cap where you put the bolts and weld on a piece of scrap re-bar, off cuts from a build site, to fashion a stake that could be forced into the ground just about anywhere the gardener wanted the trelis to stand.

I like the longer section
Thank you very much.
Cedar pockets in my area (mid Michigan) are $4 each, but I bought them to try and sell in our store. (The White Pallet Chair. Clare Michigan.
I like cedar better than pressure treated. Thanks for sharing your business name, do you have any social media pages?
To keep the cost just about the same, I'd add a small metal cap where you put the bolts and weld on a piece of scrap re-bar, off cuts from a build site, to fashion a stake that could be forced into the ground just about anywhere the gardener wanted the trelis to stand.
That is a great option for those that have access to a welder.
I like your videos. I kind of like the shorter middle cross pucket.
Glad you like them! I appreciate the feedback and your support.
What do you use for them to stick in the ground? Or are they for leaning up against something else?
You could rip down another picket in 1-11/16 strips and cut those to 24" sections as supports, but mostly i've seen them leaning against walls.
