    AMAZING. I really miss going to comic book stores. There used to be tons when I was growing up in the 90s. Now they are slowly disappearing. I’m glad there’s one EPIC store in existence.

    Im watching this series again! If there was one series of RUclips videos that i had to take with me on a deserted island, it would be this series! Dom, I have the same passion that you Chuck have and knowing that passion can bring not only joy, but a living, is exciting!

    Even Chuck shakes his head occasionally as he walks between the aisles of books. I wish I could say something wise and witty but frankly I am just still stunned from the size of it all. It’s like me trying to imagine what 10 million dollars looks like- impossible! Thank you Dom.

    Much RESPECT! You can tell he loves his collection. I hope his family feel the same way for the collection as he does, hopefully they don't just sell it when he's no longer able to take care of the books. Where you able to buy any comic book from him? Great video as always. :-)

    Thanks for the video Primetime. I tried brick and mortar store before, and just broke even. It get harder when you have employees, and overhead expenses.

    To think he has been doing something he loves for 50 years! How cool is that?? What’s even better is that he ignored the people who said he couldn’t, and proved them wrong! I was wondering, does what he said affect your view on grading? Thanks so much for sharing, I can tell you’re having a blast!

    • @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter
      @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter  4 года назад +1

      I generally agree with him on this. I rarely get books graded. Even though Chuck said no, he later said there are some exceptions and I agree with that too. Once in a while but it really has to make financial sense.

    • @MaryMcQuain
      @MaryMcQuain 4 года назад +1

      Prime Time Treasure Hunter I can understand that, you would hate to pay more than the books are worth! I do remember him saying that he made a recent purchase where he basically gave the guy the money for the grading, the books were free, so we appreciate you guys educating us so we don’t make that mistake 😊

    Thank you for your intro on this. It’s easy to get focused on money.. money… money. The fun is where it all started! You’ve got to take time to “smell the roses” and make it fun again. I’ve found that the new tax (1099) limits have really made it difficult for me to get motivated. Instead of feeling like it’s fun - I feel like I’m working for Uncle Sam. Ugh. It’s pretty much stopped me in my tracks. I need to get over it somehow.

    Here we are selling online partly because we don’t have to worry about overhead and bringing customers in to make profit, but Chuck makes me want to open a brick and mortar and display my sales stuff and my what’s not for sale!! 😁🤩 by the way, I aspire to grow a braid like Chuck’s 😍💥💯🔥💕

    is it a good investment idea to buy low value comics books for a dollar or less and storage them for long period of time 10 years and see what gonna happen?

    So glad to hear his opinion on CGC. It makes no sense to get a book graded if it’s going to cost more to grade the book than the book is worth. The only winner is CGC. Send only the books that’s going to obtain tremendous value.

    Still wonder how pressing affect the long term condition of the paper.
    Hopefully it doesn't damage them in the long term, otherwise where the preservation.

    These CGC books are 3-4 TIMES as expensive as the average sales on ebay. I get there is overhead and I expect to pay somewhat of a premium at a retailer, but not $750 for a book that averages $170 on ebay. What kind of sucker pays that?

    • @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter
