Are you able to adjust your camera settings? You should adjust your shutter speed to stop the flickering from your room light. 😊

What the hell is 'real' Doctor Who? Because Sutekh is from 50 years ago

Hi Steve thanks for the comment. I meant the way the episode had played out. It’s the first time I’ve fully enjoyed doctor who since Capaldi and it felt like that feeling had come back with this episode. Don’t get me wrong this season has been great and a big step up from when Chibnall was in charge and Jodie was the Doctor, but this episode just gave me the excitement and the feeling that Doctor Who used to give me and why I fell in Love with it. Hope that all makes sense sorry if I’ve confused you at all.

Thanks for the comment. I’ve watched all the new who from 2005 onwards but only bits of classic who here and there. Would love to do go through and watch them all just recently purchased the classic season 1 on DVD so going to watch all of that and then maybe carry on.

There's going to be a Tales of the TARDIS special showing an edited version of "Pyramids of Mars", the classic series origins of Sutekh. Would recommend that over watching the actual classic series in the original format. Because it sounds like they cut out a lot of boring "padding". It's on Thursday night I believe.

@@dogblessamerica Thank for the comment. I'll look out for it and give it a watch, and maybe do a video to go along with it. Still will probably watch the classic who as its always something I've always wanted to do but never got round to.

The episode was kind of lost on me to be honest. Seemed like a lot of it happened just because the script required it, and not much else.
Susan was pointless, since they already had a harbinger inside unit, and why use her at all since Sutekh was apparently wrapped around the TARDIS the whole time.
Doc and Ruby didnt actually do... well... anything. She mostly just stood there and said mum, while the doctor stood there with his mouth open crying for the 7th episode in a row.
What did give me a little giggle was that RTD and Ncuti have been doing the media circus for weeks telling old fans to fuck off since they want a new younger audience, and then spends an entire episode revealing a 50 year old villain thats going to be lost on his "young progressive audience".

I do agree with you but the episode just got me excited which it hasn’t done in years. I don’t really like Ncuti as the Doctor but Ruby is a good companion. It is a shame the road Doctor Who has gone down but I did enjoy this episode and maybe it was because the episodes have been poor recently but like I said this gave me excitement that I havnt had since Capldi

@@hectic.product Thats fair. I have enjoyed this season less than most of the chibnall stuff, because even though that was full of glaring problems, its clearly down to chibnall being completely out of his element in sci fi and making terrible hiring decisions for the writers room.
Russel SHOULD know what he's doing, and he doesnt care. That's what pisses me off. All he talks about in his interviews is that he's focusing on his, and i quote, "left-wing bubble". And it's all so outlandish that it gives me flashbacks to a few years back when he said "only gays should play gay characters".
His priorities are completely fucked and the show is going to get canned by disney for it.
