Well, movie wise, these animals show up out of nowhere, in pairs of two, long before the ark ever gets built. They even help evan build the boat. God (played by morgan freeman) sent them there to get it in to Evan's head that hes Noah now. But then it turns out the entire time all god wanted was not an ark but A.R.K or Acts of Random Kindness Yeah it doesnt make much sense because why the f**k did he send the animals, the boat supplies & change evan to look like noah... but whatever ._.
I gotta say, that was a well built ark. I mean, it survived quite a bit of damage from impacting concrete and other man-made structures, and still was mostly watertight.
But why reenact Noah's ark? What purpose does bringing every single animal on Earth serve? Other than looking strange to say the least. It would of been one thing if it was all the pets and wildlife like deer that are in the area. But lions, tigers, and bears?

This movie production was very nature friendly by the director's orders, no animals were harmed and they planted 2000+ trees to help minimize the CO2 emissions of the productions. In this scene, the director told the CGI team that they couldn't show any tree being destroyed/killed.

The Cops saw aliens attacking, were shocked and after being unsure of Captain America at first, they go into crisis mode and start to get people to safety, closing down the area. At first with the reveal about the dam you almost think that the animals and the hair and robes weren't necessary and then you realise that it all caused enough of a publicity stunt to get the news crew and the police and the demolition people and pretty much all of the neighbours outside so that when the dam did burst they were able to get onto the ark in time which meant that a lot (maybe not all but still a lot) of people were saved.
So God knew with months prior the dam was going to break down and flood these neighbourhoods, so he made the guy build an ark...why not just move these people to a place that is not going to be flooded?? It's like "Oh a bomb is gonna explode in this room in 2 years. Better build an antibomb armor, not like you can just not be in the room when it explodes"

The Cops saw aliens attacking, were shocked and after being unsure of Captain America at first, they go into crisis mode and start to get people to safety, closing down the area. While everyone appreciating the direction of flood ...let's appreciate the Asian elephants and pandas on the ark who travelled all along from Asia to America and took part in this one direction flood 😂😂
At first with the reveal about the dam you almost think that the animals and the hair and robes weren't necessary and then you realise that it all caused enough of a publicity stunt to get the news crew and the police and the demolition people and pretty much all of the neighbours outside so that when the dam did burst they were able to get onto the ark in time which meant that a lot (maybe not all but still a lot) of people were saved.
So God knew with months prior the dam was going to break down and flood these neighbourhoods, so he made the guy build an ark...why not just move these people to a place that is not going to be flooded??
It's like "Oh a bomb is gonna explode in this room in 2 years. Better build an antibomb armor, not like you can just not be in the room when it explodes"

They wanted to do the Noah's ark thing but couldn't do a world-wide holocaust because it really wouldn't fit with the family friendly vibe of the movie so let's just flood this one part of the city and hope the audience doesn't think too hard about it
