I wish they would adjust the Alliance quest to where an individual player can go to the next round if they themselves reach a target score as well as the alliance. It just stinks not being able to go to the next level because the alliance doesn't hit that threshold as a whole.

But I left ages ago and never had this problem again I think alongside folks letting titans go and not using war flags that is one of my least favourite things. However I wouldn't say it's a game problem to fix but more an alliance one tbh.
These new heroes destroy my team now with one special hit let alone having a lucky second hit 😂 Half of my alliance no longer participate in wars and suspect the numbers will dwindle further now as those wars aren't going to help those free to pay/ cheap to play players who are already struggling with the OP newer heroes...
@@mediumcool2 sorry to hear that tbh it is hard for players to realise that we are all in the same boat and it's tough going from winning all the time to a super hard to defeat opponent. I think many alliances have experienced this kind of attitude 😒 and it only takes a couple to let the rot spread. Anyhoo if u r not enjoying wars with your alliance there are plenty who war and have fun out there 😉

We may be playing the same game, but there is a vast difference between whales who have tons of options and heroes to use in wars and everyone else who don't have nearly as many options and have to struggle because of it. Defense teams only need 5 strong heroes and 5 strong troops to make a nigh unstoppable team in wars. Meanwhile, on offense you need 30 heroes just as strong if not stronger than the defense teams in order to even have a chance, which a lot of people don't have. Even people like myself who's been playing for 7 years now still cant keep up with the insane war defenses out there nowadays. My alliance is like mediumcool2's alliance and only about half play wars anymore. Do we win wars still? Sure, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's beyond frustrating for most of our players to even get the win since they're constantly scoring low or missing one shots due to overpowered heroes or crap RNG. Now, on top of that, Clover Field and Ancient Terror wars will just add even more RNG to wars, which will make wars that much more frustrating. It just throws strategy out the window and people have to rely on "luck" to win, which is just an awful idea for a game that is supposed to require strategy.
I like most news, especially wars. Regardless of the level we are at, I believe that if we get used to always winning (within the same range) if there is no news, people may lose interest. I do. The lack of interest in wars, tournaments and even titans, on the one hand, is because the spoils are very weak; on the other hand, people focus a lot on obtaining heroes but not on obtaining materials. In smaller alliances I see this a lot, they take little or no part in alliance activities and then complain that the spoils are few. There is a popular saying that says: the neighbor's chicken is always better than mine.

But I don't change alliances, it's not just because of the attachment I have, but because it's calm and without problems, we play when we can and for fun.
I used to think that the Dragonspire would bring something new and fresh on the table. It was off to a good start with the first 3 Province and any building level 3 or below would take minutes but now with no Province 4 yet on the horizon, building taking weeks to build, Auto Run is not really an option as monsters are more powerful than your Actual Dragon unless they are 3/70 or higher, it's not really fun anymore. I do the bare minimum as I don't see the point other than getting XP.
💯 true the xp quests are pretty good but otherwise nothing special. I'm personally quite happy that the progress is slow but u r right it just seems to be a but odd 🤔 no dragons from map stages and those darn common feathers are scarce too 😅 anyways as u said happy to plod along and keep the focus on the main stronghold too. Why the hell they roll out an unproven new RNG based Alliance War rules during peak holiday season. Already seen majority of player dislike these RNG based rules. These RNG crap makes hard earn/leveling heroes, new or old, a nonfactor in RNG based rule, we already have to deal with RNG board, now if you are unlucky, doesn't matter what hero you got, you are f'ed. Nice way to tune off player base during holiday season. SG is dumb AF. And SG want me to invite my friend to these crap?? what kind of friend would I be to drag my friends into these dumb mess. SMH

I finished the free Dragonspire Pass long ago, so feel like I should get a bonus for doing it "hard mode". 🙂 At the rate of drops, I'm going to be up against a hard wall soon - I have two 4*, who lack mats, and the fancy 3* mats don't drop to get onto last ascension. Currently only one unleveled 3* left to do. Bloody War is going to make these teams with 5 mega-minions near unbeatable, I'm afraid, especially since most of them start with a mega-minion if double LBed. In tournament, it's an oh well, I'm out. Wait until Saturday to get my junk loot. In war, you're going to have lots of people frustrated for feeling like they're letting the team down.
The Raids were fun even though the formula didn`t change for five years, but the power crawl with the change of focus on defensive playing and healing just made the formula too slow, not exciting. The success rate of a raid is also too board dependent. So that means that you see a particular starting board and you know the raid is almost impossible, when that happens more often than not, it stops being fun.
So I installed this game after nearly 2 years being off from it and goodness me! I had no idea what was going on. 7600+ team power? 1400+ hero power? 😮😮 Yeah no, I uninstalled it instantly because with my heroes reaching 5500 Team hero going against AW with all the new heroes, Maaaaaan!! 😏😏😏 And what's with that new dragon thing ... So happy I'm staying away from this game. It hasn't been the same since 2 years ago nor it is any closer nowadays.
The Clover Field buff is where the game will fall apart. You have toon heroes one shotting lvl 90 2LB heroes and now they will get to potentially cast their special twice? The premise is a good idea, but maybe the 2nd cast needs to be at a reduced percentage effectiveness.
Interesting 🤔 it could be but then also a boosted counter attack could then take care of that hero easier or CAttack with dmg reduction like Ultrox or Willow or C2 Cyprian there's probably as much chance for or against tbh. I'm not sure if you have been playing long enough to remember the "field aid" wars which were eventually scrapped for rush but if cloverfield is the same then that's fine. They game will not fall apart. I get what ur saying and innovations will come and be tweaked but 4 me I always admire the man who trys and fails more than the one who doesn't try at all. ;?)
@@McNaultyYT Counterpoint: 1. You actually have to get your counter attacker up first BEFORE they strike, which is easier said than done. 2. If a hero with counterattack gets lucky in Clover Field war and uses their special twice, it doesn't stack or do anything additional. They just have normal counterattack. If a hero like Toon Leo gets lucky, however, they attack twice and is almost guaranteed to kill any single hero. 3. If Toon Leo hits twice and your hero DOES have counterattack up, sure it may kill the toon leo, but your hero is STILL going to be dead anyways, so you're still kinda screwed. I appreciate you trying to have a positive attitude on changes to the game, but I would be very surprised if you aren't able to see just how much these changes could exacerbate major issues that are already plaguing this game. SG/Zynga is just so out of touch with the player base and changes like these show that very clearly.
Im sure the chance will be super low so it will basically just be normal war with a 5% chance or something to attack twice. If its anything less than 10% then it is a bit irrelevant. Legendary troop summon is what, 5% or something and it is pretty hard to summon one. i did multiple 10 pulls once and didnt get a single 5* troop.
@@SK8R43 Even if it is a low percentage, which we can't assume yet, winning or losing due to straight up RNG is NOT FUN. Most people want to win or lose on their own merit and don't want to have to rely on luck.
