- Some simple steps to adjust the time of day clock for the multi-function DC101 Timer. I generated this short tutorial because there were no written web instructions, based on my Google search.
I found another use for the timer. I place it in a ziplock bag when I go to the health club sauna or steam shower. Beats subjecting my wrist watch to any potential environmental stresses.
And here I am back again for the 3rd year - the clocks have gone back & I'm stuck in the future. Thanks again for your excellent video!! I'm so glad it's still here.
I have used your enormously helpful and clear instructions several times, such as when the batteries run out and the screen goes blank. New batteries require re-setting the time, and I return to your RUclips tutorial. Thank you again.
Please never remove this video ... I always come back to watch it every year during time change.. thank you so much !
Thank you for your kind words. I have no intention of pulling the video, ever.
Haha! I was just going to say the same thing! I remember thinking how simple it was last year but when I tried to change the clock this year I'd completely forgotten how to. Thank goodness this video's still on here. Phew! Thanks again! :)
Ah yes, DST changeover last night, so here I am back again for my biannual viewing of the webz best video. 👍
Me too :-)
What a gem you are for making this vid. Blood pressure is now back to normal.
Sir! You're a hero for taking the time and trouble to share your know-how. Short, sweet and to the POINT! Thank you.
Much appreciated. Glad it worked for you.

I can't tell you how many times I have come back to your site. Thanks
Thank you oh so much.
Second time I'm getting here to follow your instructions. 🌹💖
🙂 This time I'm saving this. I'm sure I'm going to need it again.
I couldn't find another help video for this very same timer.
And thank you for making it to the point. Short and succinct. 👍💕
You are a hero! I have this timer & every time I need to change battery I search for your video. Again, thank you for posting it
Thank you very much it was driving me crazy since I threw out the directions a few months back
Exactly. Seems like such a simple device to operate, and it is, once you know how. I struggled with it and looked around for instructions, but found none I liked. Since my memory is terrible, I figured I would capture my research for the benefit of you and me.
Thank you for this video. This is very helpful video to set time.
I always come back to YOU whenever I have an issue with this clock as I am not good enough to figure out all the time
I use the timer all the time. So, the functions are well memorized. Glad the video is helpful.
Thank you very much for this video!!! Best (most useful) I've seen in years.
Thanks very much Sir, helped me with my timer. Greetings from Germany:-)
You're such a Life Saver!! Looking at the incorrect time was driving me crazy! 🥴🤪🤯 So, I just wanted to say thank you 😊 very much!
Brilliant. Thanks - just what I needed when the clocks changed for daylight saving hours
I will also add my great thanks for this DC101 Time set instructions. I lost my instruction directions for setting, so you ARE a "Hero".
I posted the video, at the time, because no one else had one for the DC101. So easy to misplace instructions.
Thanks 🙏
Je ne savais plus comment passer en mode 24 hours 😊👍
Thank you so much for helping me fix my clock!
Sorry I haven't responded earlier (or ever). I missed by 4 years. LOL. Still, your comment was refreshing here this evening.
Thank you so much from brussels! 😌😊😌😊
Wow. Brussels. And you're very welcome.
Excelente tutorial, muchas gracias mi Pana
Thank you SO much for this! I use this video EVERY TIME we change into daylight savings & back again. You are a lifesaver!
My cell phone needs about 60 minutes charge every day. It's a nice Xiaomi A1 Lite. So I use the timer every day for the phone and whenever I have pancakes, for example, so the opposite side gets the same amount of heat and browning. It keeps on ticking.
Sir, you are a heaven-sent hero. Sending you gratitude and well wishes 🙏🏾✨
Thanks for the gratitude and well wishes. Nice to hear. A little late responding to your comment. I apologize.
You are correct. It is simple once you know the buttons. I was ready to throw mine away. Thanks for the info!
Excellent. Glad I could help.
Thank you so much for demo.
I see it has 80K views. Hard to believe. Thanks for the comment and you're welcome.
Many thanks for your explanations, you have spared me a lot of time !
Took me a while to figure it out, also. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks a million and God's blessings to you.
Perfect. Thank you a million!! God bless you.
I'll take that blessing. Thank you.
Excellent video! Thank you for doing this! Very helpful.
Thanks, I couldn’t figure out how to get it back to the clock after the timer 👍 Now I know 🤓
Perfect, thank you very much, I am so happy. I am not to wait till midnight and take out the battery for setting correct time anymore!
Pavel, You made me laugh. Happy I could help.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Thank you for posting this,,,INVALUABLE as I to have discarded the instructions
You are very welcome. Glad I could help. I also found it confusing, at first.
Thank u .. it helped me ... ❤❤❤
I was struggling. Thank you for this video!!
I use mine all the time. When I make pancakes, at least once a week, I depress Start/Stop, then depress the min and sec buttons at the same time, this sets the timer to "0". THEN, I press Stop/Start and the timer goes into the counting Up mode. Pretty simple, when you understand how it works, but like you, it was not apparently obvious.
Thanks so much for this! Really helpful👏🏼
thank you. this was cool...totally wanted to send this back but now love it
Mine does not keep time reliably. It always needs to be reset. But it's not a problem. I do use it all the time for when I make pancakes.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much 🙂
Thank you for putting up this video!
You're welcome.
Thank you!! I use this timer for tutoring and it was driving me crazy to not have the correct time displayed!
Indeed. Glad it worked for you.
Thank you for this video!!
Thanks so much , you made it so easy , it was driving me nuts . 🤓
That was my same feeling. Exasperated. figured I would post a how-to to help others.
Thank you!’n have a good one
You are m'y hero of this evening 😁
Wow. A hero. Cool.
Thank you!
Thank You!
Thank you!!!! 🙂
Thanks. It has been useful.
really appreciate❤
Thank you.. thank you.. thank you
LOL. You're welcome, welcome, welcome.
Thank you sir
Thank you so much! My son with autism needs this timer and I could not figure out how to program the time.
I struggled to set it up also. This was my first and so far only video. There were no other videos about this timer, so I wanted to save my Effort for others to benefit.
Thank you. Great job.
It's my only video. I'm camera shy and nervous. Glad it was helpful.
@@nappingpup105 It's a model of clarity. You should make more. I remain grateful. Cheers.
brilliant thanks
Brilliant even. High regards for the video. I like it.
life saver
огромное спасибо!
Many thanks for your help. Couldn't remember how to reset the clock after changing the battery. Problem solved!
You're welcome. I'm a little late saying so. I still use my timer today.
Thank you!!!
Better late than never. You are welcome.
Thanks!
Thanks as well, I lost my manual to show me how to do it. Changing the batteries on this clock is a bit fidelity as well.
Catching up on some replies. Sorry so late. I generated the video after I could not find a single one about this timer.
Thanks.
Thanks. I have three.
Thanks
Thank you. Learned new features. 1. Toggle between the 12 and 24 hrs mode. 2. Adjust the time (for example after changing the batteries.) 3. Switch to time mode after you are done with the timer mode.
1 Q from me. Does this have an alarm too?
It has NO traditional timekeeping clock alarm that I am aware of. I use the countdown timer Every morning. I try not to overcharge my cell phone battery and use the timer to count down when to unplug the charger, when sitting around the breakfast table.. The countdown timer does have, of course, the audible alarm.
Thanks!
For GMT or ZULU time, you add three hours to the PM time, not four hours. Do you know why there is a F/C degree setting on the back of the clock?
There is a website in China that sells consumer electronics. Google the term, or simply go to, banggood dot com. Check out their SKU# 975581. It shows a clock very similar to the DC101, with a temperature display option. I think the DC101 uses the same case, but it has No such temperature option. I poked a paper clip into the hole, but there was No switch or push button that I could feel.
Richard, as a term, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is the mean solar time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London. Greenwich is a district in the city of London. As you geographically move away from Greenwich, London, you cycle through the various world time zones. Google the term GMT Time. Google will report the actual GMT time (the time in Greenwich, London at that exact moment. You can then add or subtract your actual time to see how your location compares. For example, it is 9:50 AM, here on the East Coast, USA. In Greenwich, it is 1:50 PM. So, here on the East Coast, USA, we are -5 hours GMT. Stated another way, it will be tomorrow in Greenwich 5 hours before the time hits midnight on the East Coast. For the Central, Mountain, and West coast, midnight is even further behind, again, relative to Greenwich.
Yes, I understand GMT or ZULU time. I made an error in my comment. I was talking about changing between regular (AM/PM) and 24 hour (military) time. Normally, I think of this by adding two hours to whatever the normal time is rather than adding the normal time to 12:00. So 4:21 + 2:00 = 1621. Your way is correct. Sorry for the confusion.
❤❤❤❤
I check the twice a year, when daylight savings time goes on and off. Guy reminds me of Sidney Pollack.
thx for the video. Do you know how to power off ?
After 5 minutes of an idle timer, the unit automatically returns to the clock display function. Or, if you are in the timer mode, then pressing all 3 buttons at one time will, also, reset the timer to zero And return the unit to the clock display mode.
I use mine almost every day. Pretty simple, once you know the tricks. It stumped me for a while. No On/Off switch or key press combo that I know of. The unit always reverts back to the clock function, automatically, after an idle time period. You could remove the batteries, but then you would need to reset the clock. My unit does not keep time very well, in the clock mode. Really, I only use it for a timer. The digits are large and easy to read. The alarm tone is also really loud and will keep your attention.
