Sailed on this ship last year, the lack of natural light in the inside cabin added to our chronological disorientation. However the whole ship's company was great and we are sailing on NCL in a couple of months time.
Hope you did overcome your problem after a few days🙃 When we stayed in inside cabins, we felt like we were in another world of our own. It was pretty quiet and dark at night and when there was no sunshine, we could not tell when the sun rose each morning, so we had to set alarm everyday to make sure we woke up in time😄. It was our 2nd cruise on Norwegian Sun. The first one was about 10 years ago when it cruised to South America. Being a smaller ship didn't matter as we had great itineraries and wonderful service on this ship. This recent trip kind of brought back a sense of nostalgia, especially the fish carpet. 🐠🐟 We will always have fond memories of our cruises on NCL Sun.
Wow, you did the 21 day Trans-Atlantic cruise! We hope to do it one day when we have the time😀I presume you will be doing the Panama cruise this coming November. I think it will be a wonderful cruise! We had been to Alaska three times and been on Norwegian Sun two times. Alaska is breathtaking and Sun is a nice ship to be on😀
We just got back from a Alaskan cruise on the Norwegian Sun. Though with being a smaller ship and not so many people would be great. Was not happy with this ship at all. Our balcony room I thought was nice. The food was terrible and cold. The only food that was hot was the French Onion Soup at the La bistro. Except for the soup the food was ok but cold. Every where we ate the food was cold. The pizza at the pizza station was good only because we got a slice right out of the oven. The ice cream was delicious. The fillet mignon at Cagneys was good but cold. The service was not up to pare. Every meal they’re was something that we didn’t get and had to ask for it. Would not recommend this cruise ship at all.

We just got back from Alaskan cruise on the Sun. This was our first time on an NCL ship & we wer÷ so disappointed. The food was not good. That includes buffet & all restaurants. We were accused of not paying for one of our dinners in front of other guests, by a waiter who had no idea of what he was doing. The manager ended up giving us the meal free of charge. So embarrassing. Then we ended up getting Covid. The medical team escorted us off the ship at 6:15am on our last day along with 17 other people & basically told us we were on our own. I'll never sail with NCL again.

Just got off the sun. Been on other cruise ships before.. the sun is a very small ship. And and for reasons unknown 200.00 has come out of my bank. I had 3 drinks and bought a 26.00 chain. Nothing eles from the boat. But not only they took that money out. But 200.00 more.. very very upset..

Fabulous ship been on most of Norwegians big ships but this one had a really special feeling hope you enjoyed it

Took 21 night Miami-Lisbon last November. Just scheduled 20 night Seattle-Orlando this coming November, can’t wait.

I’ll been on many NCL ships not this one. I’m hoping that the older ships are a lot cheaper than the new ships. NCL prices have gone way up.
@@rodneyscales2648 We find that older ships during off peak season cost cheaper. Plus they have good itineraries too!

I'm ready to book Alaska June 26 2024. Cruise with Nor. Sun to Cuba , one of the last cruises there. Big memories :(.

This was the first ship my wife and I cruised on.
We loved it then, and we would sail again on the Sun without hesitation.
