Wow what a difference from my Z1 36
Yeah the new 3800 hydro gear system is a bit different 😬☝️
Great instructions homeboy, You the man!!!!!!!!!
😉👍💯
Great video mate!! A lot more complicated than before. I appreciate you making the video. I will have to do the same later this year, my mower only has 16hrs Z2 52".
Cool! Let me know how it goes for you 😉👍
You sure know what your doing if it was me I would have everything put back wrong. Much respect for a good job brother 👊💯

O boy that was a job in a half . Theres always some thing to do when your in bussiness for your self . Anyhoot yous take care
That oil change did suck 😒 take care Mike 👍
My Z1 is due as well. I’ll probably just take it to the shop. 😂
Your Z1 has the 3400 transaxles so,, it shouldn't be as hard as the new Z2 which has the 3800 wheel motors. They have that stupid oil cooler 🤷🤦you won't need to buy a hand pump.
Could you choose to pour the new oil into the white containers instead of pump it in?
14:10It specifically states in the manual to use a hand pump no more than 10 psi or it could ruin the oil system 🤷 It also states you can add oil to the resivours "if needed " after you do the procedure but, only after you have pumped 2 quarts in each wheel motor. This only applies to the new 3800 transaxle w/ oil cooler.
Man, what a PIA
I agree 😑
Man that seems like a complicated process 😜
It can be if you don't have an awesome video to go by like this one 😆😄🤣
Good video I know you’re working in tight spaces check out Harbor freight for a better extraction and refilling pump
Thanks! We had a hard time finding an extractor pump that was no more than 10 psi as specified in the manual 🤷
Are both transaxels running the same cooler or separate for each?
Same oil cooler. I'm not sure exactly how it works but, the oil cycles from pump to pump through the the cooler. At least that is was I was told 🤷
Im gonna come see you when mine gets ready lololol hope all is well my friend
Come on man! We got you 😉👍
@J's Crazy Cutz, LLC yes sir i sure will keep u n mind and thanks so much my friend
What does it cost for your dealer to do it ?
I'm not sure🤔? It's been a couple years since I've had the dealer do any hydro service for us. It normally takes me about an hour to do a hydro service on any of our Ferris mowers and $50-$100 for filters and oil. I'd imagine a minimum of $175 for the dealer to do the service? 🤔
That is the dumbest trans change design/system I have seen. I can't believe you have to buy the pump etc just to do it. That's a big thumbs down for the Ferris engineers right there.
Yep! Pretty stupid 😑
