earlier today i watched this video for a learning experience and i just got my dinner a few minutes ago and remembered this video and decided it would be fun to kinda eat together with you. it was my first time trying this and im so so grateful i found this, you don't understand how much you have helped me, im going to continue to use this "method" of eating, that you so much.

As someone who is recovering from anorexia this is actually really helpful. Because I’ve been restricted for so long I feel like I need to eat everything, then I get super triggered. This helps me regain a healthy and satisfying relationship with food again. Especially the whole « it’s just food » thing
I eat so fast out of habit because food is so yummy, feels good, and even sometimes hide my binging. This is what I need. Putting the food or fork back down after each bite is such a challenge. Not to mention taking a sip of water too now and then.

I don’t struggle with an ED but I DO struggle with ED like thoughts (your stomach looks fat starve yourself for a week, you overate by a lot now purge, you shouldn’t eat that, how many calories is that!?, you ate 1800 calories!?) I’m getting better! And your “what I eat in a day video while recovering from an ED” was so inspirational especially how you explained the questions you go through before and while eating. LOVE YOU! MUAH 😚 EDIT: I don’t consider myself struggling with an ED because it never got out of hand and if I did starve myself it would be for a week at max. I did loose weight but it was mostly because of not overeating, not snacking on little Debbie snacks and chips, not drinking juice and Soda (I was SUPER dehydrated so I stopped that unless I ate out) I am 5 ft and 105 lbs btw. A year ago I was 125 and considered 7 pounds overweight by my doctor which really took a toll because overweight seemed like such a bad word.

i’ve just started intuitive eating and i binged so bad yesterday. i thought as soon as i started intuitive eating my binge ed would just go away but i guess we have a long road ahead of us:/
until I watched this video I thought my recent urges to eat so quickly was weird but that was about it, now I (not diagnosing myself) but I might have a problem and I feel like I should definitely take steps to eat slower and overcome eating so quickly

Something I practice is trying to keep myself from getting too hungry! Eating more frequently helps avoid that for myself!
