    Will this transfer on your hands, other items and clothes?? I can’t remember if the dye was non toxic or not. How did the cup hold up after being washed?

    Is this dye ok to use on food grade products? I am concerned about health issues.

      According to their website, although non toxic? it is not food grade and therefore they do not suggest using it for anything also used, for food.

    I've recently got an itch to dye some tumblers, because, like you, my dream color/color combo or scheme has yet to be done (or sold out 😭💔).... I'll be trying this on a cream stanley, as well as my brumates 😽😽 this was pretty much what i had in mind, but I'm so thankful i found your video!! This way i can go buy a cheap pot and utensils!! 🙌🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I'm also going to buy some cheap tumblers first, because I've never dyed anything before lol.. but i have a feeling I'm going to LOVE THIS!! You explain things REALLY well, also! I get frustrated at videos sometimes because I'm like, I'm not crafty, PLEASE DUMB IT DOWN 😭😭😹😹 Can't wait to see your other craft videos! Much love and thanks 😻😽💗💗

    I have tried three different times and my lids keep warping 😢Does it have to be an original Stanley lid or can it be a generic?

      Oh wow, I'm sorry that's happening. I have only tried Stanley's for this process, but I can imagine how different manufacturers using different materials may produce varying results.

    Do NOT MIX DAWN DISH SOAP AND BLEACH!
    Otherwise it's beautiful!

    I'd love to know if I carefully painted glue on the logo if it'd prevent staining, anyone have and experience with this?

    I love this! do you think it will work with the stanleys with the glossy finish?

    • @ColorMePorcha
      @ColorMePorcha  5 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not sure, but here's my thoughts, the paint on this cup is synthetic, so the dye absorbed well. I'm not sure what type of dye works on the glossy Stanley, but I've seen the results on a FB group called Delicately Dyed, and they look nice.

      Nope, I just dyed it Sunday and have washed it each day since. Still bright.
