Breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this beautiful ceremony. I was lucky to see some hoop dancers on our stay in Arizona. But this beats all. Thank you to every one involved. Greetings from Idaho
Thank You to the person who captured this amazing ceremony and those who first posted this. Thank You to the elders and leaders who planned and perpetuate this. Thank You to the singers and drummers. Thank You to those dancers. Thank You to and all those who crafted the many things necessary. Thank You for opening a window into this sacred space. I am deeply touched by everything seen and heard here. Thank You is all I have to offer...

I forgot to mention, I do the Bears, an Elder and the Younger one, he is a healthy Bear. and the Elder's earrings not to mention their headdresses. I love it!!!
Yes beautiful indigenous aboriginal peoples of turtle island yes history is fascinating ,story tellers ,as well honor your ancestor's dance and dream smoke!!.
Vile Dagon Well yeah, that's why I asked the question. And the reason I ask is because some people take it upon themselves to put things on here from different tribes, that shouldn't be, even when recording isn't allowed. So it was an honest question, Hopis or not.
Now if only we had studied insects as much as we studied mammals then we would understand the so called white man and would have known how to deal with them because we would have known where they were coming from.
all dances should be recorded, since we forgot looking at the sky, stars, clouds, land. younger generation want to be famous. land of the people is land of people. but our holyway is heart. ddhcwbyNM1172@gmail.com Navaho/Zuni, Confederate Grandson,South,General William Henry Harrison, son,Darren dale harrison
the aunts(on fatrhers side) of the person who is dancing are giving them gifts of food, thanking them for dancing for the people. the mother, sister will go up and take the food home for them
+Chebon Tiger its like when you give Tobacco so they may pray for someone in mind and or to thank them for dancing because a ma'wiomi is a gathering and dance is our way of healing and reconnection :)
