Great video. You inspired me to do what all the internet said was impossible. Today I installed 3” spacers on the front of my 06 and then used what I learned from your video to raise the rear. I was still about an inch and a half too low. I then removed the two bolts holding the sensor to the body and lowered the sensor by installing it with the top hole on the lower stud. That gave me about another 3/4”. Finally, I removed the adjustment rod, soaked the lock nuts to loosen them and then very easily was able to adjust my rear to be level with the front. Once the lock nuts are loose, it adjusts just like a tie rod end by spinning the rod. Because of the higher air pressure required to get it this high, the rear is a good bit stiffer but I like the way it’s riding. My sequoia now fits 33 12.5 BFG KO3s with my offset wheels very nicely and no rubbing.
I WISH I had found this video 5 years ago. Difficulties trying to loosen the sway bar shaft do to unscrewing clock wise design but got it perfectly adjusted. Now my 06 sequoia doesn't hit on the frame when driving on bumps anymore, nor stress the compressor motor. Thank you 👍
Thank You brother for showing us how to adjust this sensor because I just replaced my bags and had no idea how to adjust this and your right there are no videos on RUclips of this adjustment, your the man Cheers.
I just bought an ‘05 and it squats when parked and rides very bouncy. I believe it needs new airbags but is that all that’s causing the bouncy ride? Or do I possibly need new shocks??
When you lift the air ride in the cabin using the button and drive past 17mph the air ride drops back down to normal. Will it do this after you do this trick? Thanks Shawn

Love the videos! Hows the ride quality with it adjusted?
That you for the support! I didn't really feel anything changed as far as ride quality just got the truck from looking like it was squatting

Mine has the same problem, did you figure it out?
@@gabew4188 it was the airbags .. replaced with springs And new shocks .. takes bumps so smooth now
i would replace the bags first
air bags are normally the problem
i need to do the springs
How much lift did this trick give you in the rear?
i am not sure i havent measured it but you should be able to get an inch
Hey man would you have to run taller struts/shocks? or could run the oe size and still lift a little you think
you can lift the back without adjusting the front I will have a rake
How’s this been since you raised the bags? Just curious how long until it fails or if it might.
so far everything is pretty good

it should. all this is telling it what is normal ride hight
Have you installed rear coils yet? Will any coils for the same gen sequoia work in the rear?
no I have not I am keeping the bags for now but yes they all should work as long as you have the insulators
There was a video I saw some time ago that adjusted the height on a bagged Gx460. Might search if you interested
yeah i think they have a different set up than the sequoia's
Hey Mo, quick question. Do you have a ride height sensor on each side at the rear or is it just one sensor that controls both sides?
its just one in the middle
😮
